Excellent for class headphones. Sturdy with above-average sound.
Tired of repeatedly buying headphones for your kids? I was! This set of headphones is nerdy and reminiscent of the language lab headphones I used in the early eighties. But it's sturdy, the sound is actually quite good, and my boys were enamored with them. I would like to point out that some product images show a coiled cord but it's absolutely not. So you're going to have a lot of extra cord that will probably need to be bundled up in a twist-tie (if that's a problem). So far, my 6yo is very satisfied with them as his school computer-lab headphones and the price was very reasonable. I'm an audiophile and after testing them out myself before I sent them in to school, I can honestly say that the sound quality is far, far higher than your kid will need for school. So they're cheap, chunky, (hopefully) damage-resistant and have good sound. The only potential down-side is all the extra cord -- but a twist-tie will take care of that. I'd recommend them for your kid's school headphones.

Great Headphones but they're a little heavy & lack padding for the headband
As mentioned when you combine the weight with the lack of headband padding it winds up being a little uncomfortable after wearing it for a while. As such if you have a short hairstyle, thinning hair or have the whole cue ball thing going on; This headset probably isn't for you. I'm going to try wearing a lightweight beanie to see if that helps with the comfort level. The sound quality is great and the headphone volume control feature is nice as well. The padding for the headphone portion itself is comfortable but are definitely not noise cancelling but then again they aren't advertised as such. I personally dislike noise cancelling headphones because I want to maintain some level of situational awareness of what's going on around me anyway.

Used these for a room full of middle schoolers in their piano class
I just received 16 of these headphones, which I purchased with school funds for a piano class that I run with middle school students in a public school. They are sturdy, sound great, and fit their heads perfectly. I was using cheapo $5 headphones that usually come with the pianos that look like walkman-type headphones from the 80's but they were flimsy and fell apart easily. These look like they will stand up to the test of time. Assuming they make it through the year, I will be purchasing more of these.UPDATE 3/19/2015Original set is still going strong and purchased a few more to cover computer use as well when they are composing. Most of them fit fine, a little finicky on smaller heads so I use other headphones or let students use their own. Otherwise, I still recommend these well-made headphones.

Ear cushion falls off
My son uses these at school so I don’t see the abuse he inflicts on them during each use. He is a kindergartener so it’s possible that he’s pretty rough with them. What I do know is that his teacher has sent them home twice because the ear cushion has fallen off. It’s a royal pain to put it back on. Other than that they seem fine.

Great headphones for kids
my daughter loves these they are very durable and the right size for a kid but will still stretch out enough that I can put them on( not very comfortably) but the point is they can be stretched and dropped without worry. The pads come o\ff easily for cleaning when necessary and the speakers are protected to keep kids from poking things in them. I loves the heavy duty curly cord and the volume on these is not too loud but plenty loud enough to hear, they are not noise canceling or too loud so that even at full volume you can still hear if someone is talking behind you. the volume control on the unit is nice too.

For $12, it’s amazing
Not going to lie when I say I bought these headphones more out of having another pair in case my other one doesn’t work. My school has these headphones in bulk for when we do assignments on the computer, so when I tried them out on my phone, I was pleasantly surprised to find these are, for their low price (on sale at the time), pretty good. I ordered the same pair here and I will say that I’m not at all disappointed but impressed. I highly recommend getting these.

Great sound, Poor fit
I teach computer classes at an elementary school, first through fifth grades. I was studious and careful with my order because I knew I needed something that would last and be durable. After some research I ordered 31 pair of these headphones for the computer lab. At first I was very pleased with the sound and build of these headphones. They seemed sturdy and well made...especially for the price. However, within a few days we discovered that the headphones slip. They are adjustable headphones to fit different head sizes, as most headphones are. Most students have to shrink them to the smallest size, but they don't stay small. When placed on student's head they immediately slip and sag below the student's ears. This is a big problem and I can't figure out a way to fix it. I have tried tightening the screws with a screwdriver to hold the headphones in place but the hole is too big. Would love to give these headphones a higher score, I like everything else about them, but students are constantly coming up to me with frustrations about headphones that don't fit. Very much too bad!

Good for kids
I bought these for my kids to use on the electric piano. The headphones fit my kids' heads better than mine. They have no complaint; they're comfortable for them. For me, they fit a little funny, but they're not too bad. The sound quality is so-so, but good enough for what they need. The kids liked to unscrew the adapter and use them for the computer. Unfortunately, they lost the adapter, so now we can't use them on the piano until I buy another adapter. Big bummer. Wish it couldn't come off.
