I bought the regular version a few years ago for lice but I didn't know for sure if it worked. I'm in my 60's & rarely leave home, so it really bugged me that I got lice! It finally dawned on me that I'd been to the movies & I'll bet I got lice from the theater chair! Anyway, when my kids were growing up I really drilled it into them to NEVER EVER borrow hats or scarves, & don't use other peoples pillows or blankets, etc. So they thought it was amusing that their old mother was the first family member to get lice. It was more for my peace of mind that I've used this comb after treatment because I kinda lose my mind if bugs are around! But recently my poor little dog had fleas, even though we use Advantage. She was gnawing her skin raw! The vet said fleas are getting immune to what's in Advantage & we needed better medicine. So it occurred to me I've might try this on her for fleas & it works great! Those little buggers bit the dust. Makes me so happy that my poor little dog isn't suffering from fleas anymore. I don't think it's true about it stinging your skin... I've tried it & my dog didn't react. I think some people are making up stuff.So I bought this newer model because I've want 2 in my house in case we see fleas again!

Didn’t use this right away on my daughter. Just tried it and it doesn’t work! Buzzed for about 5 minutes then died. I put in 3 brand new batteries and NOTHING! Waste of money. Unfortunately, 30 day return window has expired.

Bought this for my granddaughter's hair. She ended up with a bad case, and after weekly treatments was still finding nits. Thought we would give this a try since her hair is drying out so bad after all the chemicals. It is zapping so hopefully this does the job.

This thing is a godsend! I don't trust it kills eggs, but i does actually detect live lice at any stage! This makes going though 3 little girls hair so much easier!

I had better expectations. Detects but it does sting when it zaps. My kids squirmed in while it was zapping, felt horrible but I was confident that it was working. (I also used a lice shampoo treatment before I began.) However, I don’t recommend that as it left my scalp feeling a bit burned.. like a sun burn for about a day. Only to still have lice and nits after multiple uses. I believe this to be a waste of money. Better off saving money and going traditional with a regular nit comb, it won’t detect but we already KNOW they’re there. Better yet, just save yourself the wasted $$/time/mental state/stress and don’t buy anything. The otc treatments don’t work either anymore because lice have adapted due to over use of those treatments. Do yourself or family members a favor and just go to a dermatologist. After about $200 on otc treatments and combs, daily combing each head for about an 2 hours for almost 3 weeks (family of 4) we gave up and finally went to one. We received cream to put on scalp/body that you apply before bed then rinse off in the morning and oral medicine. Immediately felt relieved after the medication kicked in. First night I got a full nights rest since this infestation began 3 weeks ago.

You will be shocked with how many fleas ur cat has when u use this. Idk how well a regular flea comb works but this thing is great. Once in a while the flea was not zapped dead but I had a bowl with soapy water to use for flea disposal. You have to clean out the comb part with each pass if u have a cat with longer hair or shedding hair OR the hair will start to sizzle and stink…. Cleaning it after each pass was the only bad part but the good outweighs the bad!!!!

SAFE, AND IT REALLY WORKS! Just use it 2 or 3 times and no more bugs, I USE ONCE A MONTH JUST TO CHECK. Every child in school should have one of these.

This is the worst comb ever, it does not work at all, too bad there was no negative stars to give as a review because this product does not even deserve one . Don’t buy it worst product ever, can’t even get a refund
