No More Night Leg Cramp
I had a severe and very painful leg cramp problem for many years, night and day, but mostly when lying down in a bed for a period of time. I had to be very careful how I move my legs when I was shifting my body in a bed or needing to get up. And they sometime lasted more than 10 minutes – occasionally more than one cramps in different part of the leg(s). I figured this might have been caused by lying down or sitting in a chair for a prolonged time, restricting the blood circulation and thus depriving oxygen to muscles. So I wanted to see if a leaning/standing chair might help.It DID. After I started using the lean/stand chair (close to a year), the leg cramp almost disappeared. If I did have, it was not so severe that I was able to shake it off easily. I haven’t had any single major leg cramps since. Also I feel more energetic, my knees don’t hurt as much and I can walk easily.I highly recommend Lean/Stand chair to anyone who suffers from night leg cramps or knee problems.I have both Ergo Impact Leanrite and Focal Upright Locus Standing Chair and I would like to point out pros and cons for the both Lean/Stand chairs.Ergo Impact LeanritePro: Seat tilts for a comfortable leaning. Lighter and takes less foot print than Focal Upright Locus Standing Chair.Con: Stiff seat. Floor mat slide too easily and not as comfortable as the Focal Upright Locus Standing Chair. Seat pole is fixed and does not flex as the Focal Upright Locus Standing Chair does. Seat if stiff and not comfortable to sit.Focal Upright Locus Standing ChairPro: Optional Foot mat is highly comfortable and stay in position. Seat pole does flex when you lean back, thus making it more comfortable leaning/sitting.Con: Seat does not tilt for comfortable leaning. Seat if stiff and not comfortable to sit.I think optional seat cover maybe useful.

I just love this chair
I recently switched to a standing desk because sitting down bothers my back. I did a lot of internet research about standing chairs, and I was drawn to the Ergo Impact Leanrite right away, but I didn't want to spend that much money, so I bought a less expensive chair instead. That was a bad decision. That chair is now up for sale on Craigslist, and I've done what I should have done in the first place and purchased the Leanrite chair. I've had it for a week, and it is everything I hoped it would be and more. It's solid, heavy duty, and well made. Three levers make it very easy to adjust height and seat angle while standing, leaning, or sitting at the desk. I probably best prefer the leaning position with the seat in the vertical position, but I switch it up a lot during the day just because it's easy to do, and I can't sit or stand still very long. The pad on the bottom is soft, but firm, and very pleasant to stand on, either with shoes or socks or barefoot. This chair is well worth the money, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to stand, lean, or perch at their desk. When the chair arrived, I had it set up in about 20 minutes. It worked right away, but one of the levers had a bit more play in it than I thought it should, so I emailed the manufacturer, and Jonathan, the founder of the company, got back to me by text withing an hour. After exchanging a few more texts, he asked me to send a couple of pictures, which I did, and he sent me a new lever the next day. It arrived, I quickly installed it, and it totally fixed the minor problem that I had with the lever. It's truly a pleasure to do business with someone who cares about the quality and function of their product.

"Perch" away your back pain
After my 3rd back surgery, this time to fuse the SI joint......my surgeon suggested a "perch" stool rather than sitting while writing Inspection reports......The Leanrite Elite standing desk chair was purchased and after a short period getting used to "perching", I would NEVER go back to sitting for long periods of time in front of the computer screen......this "chair - device" truly took the lower back pain away and allows me to "perch" , stand, and even sit, for the best of all worlds! Quality materials and a sturdy build will allow years of service! I highly recommend this product!
