If your looking for a sandlewood fragarence this is a good choice. It is not overwhelming, and has a light musy scent.

This is a very generous-sized bottle (100 mL) as well as thick and shaded to protect the fragrance. The label on the bottle doesn't say much and is pretty bare bones. The packaging included a velvety black foam cutout (to keep the bottle from rattling inside the box).The fragrance itself is not one that I particularly enjoy. It's sort of spicy and acrid with a hint of something like freshly cut cucumber, and I prefer something a bit more woody and musky. However, if spicy/acrid/cucumber is up your alley, then this fragrance might be for you - it's just not for me.

I've seen this brand on Amazon and I finally got a chance to try one their fragrances. This Niche Other 13 cologne is super smooth. It's fresh in the opening then settles in a clean note and finishes off a little on the powdery side. The note breakdown says pear, jasmine and moss but I don't get that exactly. I do wish it were a bit fruiter, or sweeter in the opening pear scent, instead I get a fresh produce note, almost like a kiwi skin that's nice and fresh and then a clean soap and a touch powdery. It reminds me of a smoother, more toned-down version of Missoni Pour Homme.I really like the bottle, it's heavy and feels good in your hand. I prefer round bottles that fit easily into a gym bag rather than the awkward shaped bottles and this atomizer is the best I've ever seen! I know everyone says that about every atomizer out there, but really this thing is the best! It has this nice resistance and if you go down all the way it puts out this puffy burst of cologne. In fact, I wore my YSL EDP today and just checked to see if it was better than YSL and there is no comparison! All cologne brands should have atomizers this good!Being this is a freshy I think this cologne would be great during the day time, maybe for office wear and since its not sweet or amber-ish, you could wear it all year around. You could go several sprays with this, since it's pleasant, you're not going to offend anyone that stands next to you, or close-by. Projection is good, 2-3 ft and I got 5-6 hours before it turned into a skin scent. I think this would be most suitable for younger gentlemen, teens, or up to maybe 20-something because I feel like the younger generation of men tend to like these fresh, powdery-style scents. The quality is there, but I gave it 4 stars since it's not my style and I was expecting a sweeter pear note up front but overall it's a nice scent for everyday wear.

This fragrance is like walking into the library, or a bookstore. It is reminiscent of the smell of books in a pleasant way (if you aren't already fond of the smell). It was packaged very safely, and the aesthetics of the bottle are great. It has a nice weight to it and the atomizer is fantastic!The scent is tricky to put into words as no particular notes come to mind when smelling this fragrance, but it is very light and inoffensive. When I first put it on, my mother could smell it when she came down the stairs, but she could not describe what she thought it was. She said "nondescript perfume," meanwhile I was thinking like 'ink and paper'. To me, it is very much a skin scent. It is very subtle and clean, making for a great everyday perfume. It is perfectly unisex and I would say not limited to any particular age group. Anyone could pull this off. It lasts 4-5 hours on my skin after a shower, and part of that could be because it is such a light scent that I feel the need to reapply.Overall, this is a great scent exactly as described. Please keep in mind that this is not something that projects or has a pronounced silliage, but rather something that is close to the skin and likely not to cause headaches. If you are looking for something that you can wear without gathering a ton of unwanted attention/safe for work this is the perfect perfume.

This is my first experience with this company and a niche eau de parfum. I have to say that the description they wrote up on the Amazon page is very similar to what I experienced while trying it for the first time. It's woody, but sweet, different notes hitting at different times. It honestly left me confused as to whether I like it or not, which makes sense because they claim it is also mysterious. Read the descriptions, they really nailed this scent.It is a much larger bottle than I expected. If you plan on gifting it, you can't spray and try it before gifting since you have to cut through the white label attached to the brown box, so keep that in mind.
