Great buy for absolute beginner . Good sound nice tone. Grandaughter loves it. Valves working good. Will last a few years .

Purchased for my young daughter.It's made of tough plastic and is light enough for her to hold. She can get a few notes and enjoys trying.Versus a proper trumpet, I find it harder to play. The tone is fine to learn on and the grip is comfortable. However I find it more difficult to pitch. Valves could be quicker but that will only bother an experienced player and even then they work fine.I do agree with other reviews that a proper mouthpiece might help.

Unfortunately we’ve had a big problem with the valves sticking. We’ve tried cleaning it, using valve oil and teacher has tried too. Be warned !

Very good little Red Cornet!! Sounds fine when playing Binary Sunset. Fun and lightweight. Two mouth-pieces supplied giving slightly a different tone and playing approach. Small Shoulder Bag also supplied.

A fantastic purchase as a trial instrument for young children.It is lightweight aand provides an outlet for initial Interest.For an adult regular player The low register is hard to pitchDoes what I wanted which provides an Interest instrument for my pre. I played the cornet for over 25 years but stopped when I had my children so when I saw the reviews for this I thought why not and wow I wasn’t disappointed it’s plastic yet the sound it produces is just amazing and it’s so light even the mouth pieces are fine so pleased with it

Valves are not spaced the same as a metal corner making this not usable as a direct replacement.You cannot play this at speed due to slow valve action and the spacing issue.It’s a shame as I really wanted this to work as a spare corner to take on holiday to practice a.contest piece. At best I could just use it to keep my lip in and simple scales/ youngish exercises.A great concept poorly executed and failed by this major design flaw.

La semplicità è la sua qualità principale. Dal punto di vista costruttivo, è fatta con il maggior numero possibile di pezzi tutti uguali (pistoni, tubi, molle) mantenendo comunque la possibilità di intonarla un minimo. Non è indistruttibile, ma nemmeno delicatissima, può stare in mano a un bambino senza timore di prendere colpi. La meccanica si può lubrificare ma rimane un po' rumorosa. Buona la sagoma dei bocchini, inclusi in due misure (ad es.: adulto/bambino). Nulla vieta di usarne uno di metallo, ne guadagna il suono, ma quelli inclusi in plastica il loro dovere lo fanno. Il suono, appunto: raggiunge senza problemi una produzione economica cinese in ottone. Una qualità più alta, chiaramente, non è il suo mestiere, ma fino a lì si difende. Presa al 50% su Warehouse per una leggera imperfezione sulla campana, sigillata nuova. Ottimo acquisto.

Just received the pCornet planned as a gift to my grandson. It looks OK, but was delivered without mouthpieces, and had to be returned.

The instrument has good value for your money. It comes with the instrument itself, two plastic mouthpieces (2B and 4B), and a black, drawstring bag. One of the first things I noticed is the sticky third valve. It always got really sticky after playing for about 15 minutes straight and nothing I tried doing helped. I was able to get in touch with customer service quickly and eventually got my problem fixed.It's a fun instrument to play on, but I wouldn't recommend using it in a real band setting because it has a hard time tuning. I think it's great for anyone who needs a low maintenance cornet for casual playing.
