great high chair, great customer service
I love this high chair, and the Peg Perego customer service can't be beat. I haven't found the stationary front wheels to be a problem - we have a tiny kitchen and when my baby is in the high chair, I lock the casters on GO and can roll it wherever I need it. The movement is smooth and easy. I'm also impressed with how compact it folds down - since it stands on its own, we fold it up, push it up to the kitchen table as if it were a chair, lock the wheels to STOP, and that works for us for now. It's also super stylish, and I get compliments from friends - everybody wants to know where I got this high chair. Luckily I caught a flash sale on Amazon and got it for a steal.Note that when you first get it, the arms will probably be a bit warped, and the tray table won't line up with the holes. You have to do a bit of work to get the tray in and out, and it's not a one-handed operation. I called Peg Perego and was told by their customer service that this is a known issue and has to do with how the frames are shipped and stored, and was advised to store the tray table in place in the arms for a week or two. So far this is working, and the arms are slowly correcting themselves. It's not fully corrected after a week, but it's on track to be fixed in another week or so. They did send me another frame but it had the same issue. I've been impressed with their level of customer service through this process, even if it was a little frustrating to get such an expensive high chair that had a warp issue. But that's literally the only issue with this chair, and since it's easily fixed and doesn't really detract from the high chair I can't knock any stars off because I love everything else about it. It's clearly a high quality item, every component is well made and works well, it's easy to keep clean as almost everything detaches, and my baby enjoys sitting in it. What more can you ask of a high chair?

LOVE! Best high chair!
I used this same high chair 10 years ago different color. I wanted a newer modern chair like the Lalo but decided on this and I don’t regret it. I use it with my newborn now fully reclining when I need to be in the kitchen so baby isn’t unattended. This chair is still my favorite. The multiple recline and height positions and the easy rolling. Its super comfortable and easy to clean. Solid quality…I suggest this high chair for every parent. Looks don’t make ur life easier…but this chair does. I know its bigger n bulkier than the newer modern ones out now, but its still worth it.

Versatile, Stylish, and Convenient: The Perfect High Chair for Growing Families!
The Peg Perego Siesta High Chair has been a game-changer for our family! From its multifunctional design to its sleek Italian craftsmanship, it's everything we could ask for in a high chair and more. One of the standout features of the Siesta is its versatility. It's suitable from birth to toddlerhood, seamlessly transitioning from a recliner to a high chair as your little one grows. This multifunctional design is incredibly convenient, allowing us to use it for different stages of our child's development without needing multiple pieces of furniture. The compact folding mechanism is another highlight. It folds down easily for storage or travel, making it perfect for families with limited space or for on-the-go use. Despite its compact size, it doesn't compromise on comfort or functionality.

Lots of Pros and a couple of design changes would make this perfect
The positive:Straight from the box the only assembly was a simple snapping in of the rear swivel canisters. My tray did not have the sticker instructions attached to it’s surface. Upon opening it the Licorice color is real attractive looking, the seat is a very soft vinyl resembling leather. The straps were easy to adjust, and it was easy to recline, raise and lower the seat, and refold. The negatives:Steering the chair requires you to spin it around and pull it backwards.Forget this on carpeting. It hung up on my area rug, and on the wall to wall the canisters felt almost locked, but weren’t.I can foresee the embossed name on the seat top pealing eventually. It’s not stitched on, it’s almost like an iron-on.The easy to remove tray liner should be a little more fitting. There’s nothing more then 3 tiny bumps on the liners inner lip, with no indentations to stick in. When I tilt the tray straight up on the unit it separates by a good bit. Very disappointing, something so simple and not well thought out.Overall it’s a near perfect high chair, just needs a few very small alterations that would cost the manufacturer little if anything.

I'm glad I spent the money on this highchair
As a first time mom, I spent a lot of time looking at highchair reviews, not knowing at all what I would need or want. This one seemed like it was "the best," though fairly expensive. Amazon had a mark down on this color, and since I (and my baby) don't care what color it is, I seized the opportunity. I am incredibly glad I did! Though, when we received the chair, after assembly, there was a problem with one of the back wheels, but after contacting Peg Perego, they sent a replacement frame, and now everything is perfect. The reasons I bought this chair, and the reasons I would recommend it:It folds up fairly flat, so I can lay it against a wall in my pantry, and it doesn't take up too much space (probably 6 inches from the wall, about 2.5 ft across)It is incredibly mobile but locks into place securely (since we wheel it out of the way and then return it to our eating spot fairly often)The white top of the tray detaches/snaps off for incredibly easy clean upThe seat cushion is very easy to clean alsoThe seat reclines <- this one another of the reasons I purchased this chair, but I have never used the feature because my LO was sitting up fairly straight before we started "solids" (aka runny oatmeal)The one thing that I am unsure of with this chair is that even though we have the straps as tight as they can go, they are not tight around the baby (and he was in the 90% percentile for height and weight at 7 months); however, they are secure enough that he could not crawl out without becoming a contortionist, but we are very careful to always keep an eye on him.
