Authentic INDIA Javin brand curry powder One Pound Gluten Free

I have used this in restaurant I've worked at and for myself, and it's one of my favorite curry blends

Large jar of curry, Sealed for freshness, Not too HOT (I got the mild due to India HOT being sometimes way to HOT)I found that using a bit more gave a better flavor than using less. I use Chili Garlic sauce to bring the heat level to what I prefer.

My friend suggested this curry and I have enjoyed using it almost like salt. My only issue is that it comes in a huge jar. Since I purchased it around the holidays and I have a lot of friends with birthdays, I am sharing this delicious curry as presents.

Looks and smells fresh! The local Asian market where I’d buy the powder, near me, closed (owner retired) and this curry is my absolute favorite. I couldn’t locate it online until recently when I was literally out of the last jar I hoarded, out of 2, right before the store closed almost a year ago.

Been using this curry powder to cook in the past month. Not sure if I got an expired/bad jar, but the flavoring is very bland. Theres no expiration date. For the price point, was quite disappointing.

This is a good product. A friend recommended it years ago and I haven't been disappointed. However, the Amazon price has increased dramatically. I bought it in June 2021 for under $15 and its price is now over $21 from the same seller (KVJ JOY). Another reviewer wrote in 2021 that the Amazon price was more expensive than local retailers, so I've decided on looking for another source or another brand.

I’ve tried every curry powder and paste under the sun. This is the shiz. No idea why. It just is. It’s drop dead gorgeous. Do yourself a favor and use this as your base. Add fresh ginger, garlic, tomatoes, turmeric, paprika, bay leaves, salt/fish sauce, and ghee and you’re set. Better than the restaurants. Everyone raves when I cook it. I’m def not the best chef, but this powder makes the magic happen. Enjoy.

I love the taste of this curry powder. I don’t know much about curry powder but some of them aren’t all that pleasant and this one really tastes good. I always put a little in my chicken soup as well as in various Indian dishes.
