AMAZING CAR PLAY
I give this a 5 start because this CarPlay has been so helpful. I needed something cheap and easy to use with good quality. This car play has everything you need it can connect to my speakers in the car too which is AWESOME!! I didn’t have the money to go and buy a full radio so I went with this and it’s so worth it. No lag, Amazing audio, Sticks to any part of your dash, It’s also very sturdy and doesn’t move at all when i’m driving.

Makes Driving Safer & More Enjoyable
I enjoy driving. However, I am geographically challenged at times. Car Play's GPS is 7” LARGE. It’s great, it's a touch screen, bright and easy to use. The GPS synchs with my phone (very easily) via Bluetooth. I can text with Siri and I now talk thru the car’s sound system while driving. My hands stay on the wheel, which means no breaking the law. I still see people texting and driving, they need this unit!!!I recommended this CarPlay GPS to my niece. She used to use her cell phone map, she also almost got a ticket when a call came in.I also like that the unit comes with its own dashboard holder, it keeps my unit high up and exactly where I want it. I personally don’t like the GPS systems that are built into the car's dashboard...I think it’s too low, IMHO. I’m looking into getting their dash camera next, they have really good quality.

Works as advertised!
This product does exactly what it says it does. The screen is high quality. I would appreciate louder audio output but this is a common problem with most Bluetooth adapter devices. Overall, definitely worth the cost to me!

How did I ever live without this thing?
***UPDATE***I found that the Ford Transit Connect has an "always on" 12V power outlet, which ended up causing the metal plate I attached to the back of the unit to fall off due to the excessive heat. So...I had to further rg this thing up using a 12V power adapter from Amazon that has an on/off switch (see photos) which effectively turns off both the CarPlay and the bluetooth adapter when switched off, then turns both back on when turned on. Everything now connects flawlessly, and I love being able to control the power on that 12V outlet with a switch...it's a better solution in the end.***************First of all, yes this thing works and it works well. The touchscreen is great and the picture quality is nice. For the price, I could not be happier with how amazing this wireless CarPlay is working. Connecting my iPhone 15 Pro to the device was quick and easy, and it reconnects every time I get into the car. It's really that easy.I bought this for a 2018 Ford Transit Connect that has no bluetooth connection and only a small 3" screen that basically works only as a backup camera. Here's how I made it work and work well in this vehicle:1. The included "sticky" articulated arm was never going to work in this vehicle because the dash does not like those sticky mounts (I've tried and failed with this in the past). I could have used it to mount the CarPlay to the windshield, but this vehicle has a large, recessed windshield that would both put the device far away from my old eyes as well as block some of my field of view in front of me, so that wasn't an option. I bought a Magsafe vent-mounted phone holder for my iPhone a while back and that worked great for the phone, so I decided to use it for the CarPlay instead because it's located lower on the dash where the screen is easily visible but not in front of the windshield at all. It does block most of the radio (but not the volume control), which is okay because I'm not using the radio anyway. You'll need a thin metal plate with adhesive on one side (many MagSafe phone holders come with these, but they can be bought separately for cheap also). I slapped one of those thin plates on the back of this device where the sticky arm would have gone, and viola, the CarPlay stuck cleanly to the MagSafe vent phone holder (and stays there without much wiggle while driving).2. The CarPlay device needs power, and has a USB-C interface on the device. It comes with a 12V cigarette to USB-C adapter which works fine, but I needed an additional USB outlet to plug my bluetooth adapter into so I couldn't use the one that was included. So I dug out an old dual USB 12V adapter and USB-C cable and had the CarPlay up and running in 30 seconds. I used a 3M Command cable clip to get rid of the slack on the cable and give it a cleaner look.3. Now I've got the CarPlay up and mounted on the MagSafe on the vent, and powered via USB-C to the 12V adapter. My phone is connected to the CarPlay and all is well, but there's no sound (well, there is sound from the CarPlay itself, but obvs the quality is terrible and you would never use that for music etc). There is a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable included, but I didn't want yet another cable cluttering the dash up so I opted for a bluetooth connection. They sell a really nice and easy to use USB-A to 3.5mm cable on here from UGREEN that is working great in the vehicle. After setting it up once, it automatically connects to the same iPhone as the CarPlay. So I plugged the BT adapter into the extra USB outlet on the 12V adapter and the other end into the one and only 3.5mm aux input in the Ford (which is thankfully only about 15 inches from the 12V) and I was immediately up and running. The setup is about as clean as you can get with the 12V and aux inputs located where they are in the Ford. The CarPlay works fantastically and I've had no issues with it at all. The only two things to not about a setup like this are the 12V outlet in the Ford is ALWAYS ON, so you actually have to hit the power switch on the CarPlay every time you leave the vehicle or it will drain the battery. No biggie, but it is an extra step. Also, in order to have the BT audio work correctly, there's an area in the settings of the device where you need to turn on "Use car's bluetooth" or something similar. That way the device doesn't try to run audio through it's tiny speak and works directly with the car bluetooth instead.Overall, I still can't believe how cheap it was to setup a wireless Apple CarPlay in my junky old stock Ford. It looks great for what it is, and functionally it's been pretty flawless. If you're thinking about a wireless CarPlay device, go with this one. I'll tack on some photos of my setup next time I'm in the car.
