Picking the Right Piece of Machinery for a New Hobby
My husband needed a new band saw to expand his hobby. After years of using a lathe to make pens, mostly acrylic, he decided to try his hand at miniature birdhouse ornaments, wood. This was the perfect opportunity to buy a new band saw after he gave away his original one. He is very pleased with the machinery. He actually followed the directions and set up the saw and has used it enough to give it a rating. He is glad he bought this model.

I’m satisfied
I do like this machine, however, if I had it to to again I’d have to choose a different machine, one that has a greater cutting height. As is the tallest piece possible is limited to less than 4 maybe 5 inches.

Not 9" of blade
Why is this called a 9 inch band saw and it only has about 4 inches of cutting blade??

Good bandsaw, had an issue I fixed
I like this bandsaw a lot, but I had an issue other buyers might want to know about. After using it a few times it started to make a clicking sound and vibration that came from the bottom wheel as it turned. I never figured out what caused it, but I loosened the 3 screws that connect the pulley to the wheel and tightened them again and it went away.

Work as it should, right out of the box
The media could not be loaded. Bought this one because it has an attached LED light with it. TBH, I was pretty amazed by the brightness of this LED and the noise level (check the video I uploaded), pretty happy with it!Setup is quite easy since the saw blade is already loaded, the only thing you need to do is getting the table in place.I gave a try with crosscut of a 2x2 pine stick, works without any problem. So far so good.Only CON is that rust protection oil sprayed on the band saw table makes it a bit greasy. But not functional problem so I just wiped it.
