Piece of trash didn't work battery wire burned up when trying to assemble. Big expensive disappointment don't waste your money. Returned item for refund.

This is my first gel blaster, and it's been fun to play with. Everything seems to work as intended without any problems. The flashlight accessory feels very cheap, but the rest of the blaster does not.

For $43 this electric gel gun is expensive. It seems well made but have some issues. First, the battery compartment is way to small, it took some time to squeeze the wires and battery into it (2 batteries would be nice.) Second, the design didn't have a priming spring in the clips so it won't reliably fire. Third, while the range is decent, the accuracy is not as good (within 2-4") It does comes with generous gel balls and some are in convenience small portion (it would be great with different colors) The 3 different size clips is also good. There should be some holes at the bottom of the clips to drain excess water. The flashlight works great.

The gun is fun to shoot. It has a little more power than the previous version whish I also purchased. It would be nice if you could remove the flashlight to take some weight off but you can't without manually modifying the battery holder. I'm not sure about the quality of the ammo it comes with because it seemed to break apart in the barrel about 1 every 4 shots or so. Also, the option to switch it to the "slide lock" option didn't work because the lock tab and slide didn't mate up well so it only lets me use the blowback option. The gun has a great look and feel and one of the nicest features is that the magazines drop out when you hit the mag release on the gun making it more realistic as opposed to having to manually pull it out after pushing the release which was the case on the previous version. The magazines are a little time consuming to load even with a "speed loader" bag because of the small opening on the magazines. Overall, I would recommend this as an entry level blaster especially if the price were lower. As others stated, it can be a good "trainer" for young children to learn about gun safety.

We have a TON of gel blasters because our family has a TON of fun with them. My son was SUPER excited to add this guy to our family. It wasn't the easiest one that we have to get locked and loaded- but it made him happy...he wants this one every gel blaster fight- so he's now learning how to get it set up on his own. He told me he'd be sad if I docked a star, because "HE'D GIVE IT 10 OR 20 " so.... no stars docked. BUT- it is a cool gel blaster for a fair price. So if I had docked a star, it would simply because of the process of NEEDING to unscrew it & re-screw to place the battery rather than my personal favs - the battery is in the clip 😉. Anyhow. It's worth it. Just may not be to you if your kid is expecting you to set it all up all the time.
