BestBuy Geeksquad recommended it to fix my wifi connectivity issue. It didn't fix the problem, but the part arrived next day in good shape and ready to use. Unfortunately, I had other issues. Supplier provide complete refund without issue. Will buy again if ever needed.

Will NOT work in a Lenovo G50-70
Potential buyers should be advised that this wi-fi card will NOT work in a Lenovo G50-70. Apparently the Lenovo BIOS has a white-list of acceptable wi-fi cards and this exact one is NOT on the list. (Although the Lenovo documentation says an Intel 3160 is OK.) I have this same wi-fi card in another laptop and it works great. The problem is with Lenovo. However, for the price you may want to take the chance that this wi-fi card WILL work in your laptop . The small price makes it a easy bet to lose.

doesn't work
After replacing with this new Wi-Fi adapter, the laptop wouldn't even start, the following message is displayed "Unauthorized Wireless network card is plugged in. Power off and remove it."The business card with the technical support number was included, however this information is useless since the only option was offered is to return the item.
