Better than a super cheap death-dapter
I got these as we have friends from China coming over now and again who always need a spare adapter (They use the same 3 pin style as Australia). These are fairly well made and certainly better than the multi socket 'death-dapters' but they lack a fuse. Per BS 1363, adaptors designed to enable a non-UK plug to be used with a UK socket must meet the requirements of :1) Be fitted with a fuse2) Have the Line and Neutral contacts protected by shutters3) Be marked by an approval bodyGiven these lack an obvious fuse or shutters (It's held together with a tri-wing screw that I don't have a long enough bit to reach to double check) I think the UKCA mark may not be totally legit.
