Everything I hoped it would be 😍 (almost)
I’ve wanted this kind of bed pillow for years and finally got it in a post-op surgery recovery logistics fugue. Surprisingly, despite being the least expensive version I considered, this set is almost everything I could have asked for. The level of modularity works as advertised, it’s comfortable despite me being a relatively small person with a currently-limited range of motion, it keeps me from moving around in my sleep while still also maintaining such a comfortable posture I don’t mind. The hook and loop/velcro straps do seem to be frizzing a bit but that’s kind of their nature.Pros: cost-effective/good return on investment, good quality full stop, exceptional pain relief and convenience compared to trying to get the same coverage with random bed pillows, reasonably easy to have my caretaker use for me… and it comes with a vacuum bag it can actually be effectively packed back into for travel! Also expands remarkably fast into its full and useful form, which was a blessing given I needed the support immediately. The knee pillow works well to keep me in place comfortably so I don’t move around in my sleep and also don’t have to brace myself in risky ways to reposition, while somehow feeling pretty natural despite its size. Oh, and did I mention that it’s somehow stable enough to fit on the edge of a queen size mattress with room left for two more people despite that looking impossible at first glance?Cons: I don’t love the fact that there’s no immediately available washable cover; normal use is bad enough for thinking about the cumulative hygiene issues from something I don’t know how I’d wash, but I also have dust mite allergies and no way to encase them. Time will tell as to how manageable that is—I’ve yet to look into alternate solutions.Honestly I probably should’ve ordered this for gerd ages ago instead of playing around with other mattress-based solutions that ultimately cost more and were more unwieldy. As is, strong contender for my favorite post-op purchase and something I look forward to getting use out of after recovery; some worries about long-term care being an open questionUpdate half a year later: Definitely dissatisfied with the cover: washing it is an ordeal, no backup exists, it’s pilling, and I’m mortifyingly aware that leaving it on is unhygienic. Also have stretched the limits of what the hook and loop connectors are meant to configure into, with the usual amount of abrasion damage to the pillow. No noticeable loss of firmness/support, which is shocking from a pillow I can afford. On the one hand, I shouldn’t need to do aftermarket kludges to keep it at five stars. On the other hand, revisiting this review has reminded me that putting more effort into restoring the surface and figuring out how to pin a pillowcase I can wash to it, or *something*, will be worth it.…Maybe they’ve released a la carte pillow covers while I was healing…?

Perfect for my surgery recovery
I ordered this to be prepared for my shoulder replacement surgery. It has helped me tremendously....I like how I can adjust the back support...more upright when sitting up, lower incline to sleep. I feel this is much better than if I were to have tried using several pillows to get the right angle I need throughout the day , with one hand ..That small half roll is great for my lumbar, and gives me the right support to ease my lower muscle pain. The wedge for legs, used only one day, because I needed my legs elevated better after surgery. Toes above knees, knees above hips, to avoid any blood clots. May be able to use later. But over all, I am very happy with the choice I made with this pillow. It will be with me through, especially my first six weeks of recovery. And in the future, when just relaxing....without multiple pillows to fight with.

Perfect for after surgery!
This pillow has been a life saver since I got home from surgery! I had a shoulder surgery and cannot sleep flat. I don’t own a recliner and did not want to buy one just for this. I have used this every night for 2 weeks and it’s amazing and comfortable! It doesn’t slip but you can adjust the height as you lay. It’s super sturdy! It was so easy to put together. For anyone needing support this is a must!

Works perfect in a recliner for a senior or anyone
I’m a senior 70 years old not the healthiest spend a lot of time in my chair sadly but I’ve always put 20 different cushions and foam pads and bought pads that were made for recliners. Nothing ever worked so I saw this and wondered what it work in a reclinerOh my gosh, after spending several hundred dollars with cushions and things made for a recliner this item here is the best thing for a recliner supports my back, supports my neck. It’s perfect. I just wish there was a little seat cushion that could slide up to the bottom of it then it would really be extra perfect.Hey manufacturer, if you wanna test one on me, invent one and send it to meThose of you struggling for cushions for a recliner look no further.just make sure you measure the width of the seat. I do have an oversized recliner, so make sure that it will fit before you buy.

Largest pillow is really slow to expand.
The wedges and and 1/2 cylinder supports are terrific. However, the large back support pillow has yet to expand after 6 days. It's like waiting for an acorn to sprout.

Sleeping on a cloud...
"If you're happy, if you're feeling good, then nothing else matters." - Robin WrightSleep heals the body and sleep cleans the brain; therefore, a good night's sleep is essential to achieve maximum productivity. Quite impressed with the versatility and durability of this pillow set. It can be arranged to comfortably watch TV, read a book, take or nap... or snooze all night long. I rarely use the leg wedge and still can arrange the pillows in over a dozen different positions. Experiment until you find your most comfortable position. The materials seem durable and the filling is firm, yet conforming. The Camping Guru definitely recommends this pillow set for people coming out of surgery, those with an aching back and/or for any side-sleeper who wants to convert to a back-sleeper or anyone who easily falls asleep in a recliner... like me!PS: I read some of the 1-star reviews. Most of them were fairly recent and they complained that the large pillow never decompressed. Not sure why, but mine decompressed within a couple of hours (delivered Feb. 28, 2025).

Poor packaging, can’t use wedge
Better packaging would have allowed the back support pillow to not be squished. 3/4 pillows perked right to life once the plastic was removed, however the back support pillow which is the main one I needed is still in a squished up wad. If it does not take shape in next day or so I will be contacting seller for a replacement. Besides that the other pillows are nice quality and super comfy.
