My ears tend to clog quite often, and they were plugged up when the cleaner came, so I was really happy to try it out right away. The first time I tried it, I didn't position it right so my hair got pretty wet, but the second time I placed it a little differently, and it worked perfectly. It was nice and warm, felt kind of like a massage in my ear. I did have to fill it 3 times before it got all the gunk out of my ears, but what a difference it was to hear again. Within 10 minutes I could hear real well again. When it first squrit in my ear, I kind of jerked a little bit, I wasn't quite sure what to expect....it does not hurt! It's easy to clean..Lynn Allen

We love this ear irrigation equipment! My boyfriend’s left ear was compacted with ear wax and he couldn’t hear for few days. We tried using ear wax removal drops which didn’t work so we did some research and came across this product which worked really great! We highly recommend you getting this because it really works and it’s not messy either!!! Now he can perfect!!

Works very well. Please use the soft setting, especially if using for the first time, and pay attention to the water temp. It must be warm and not too fast. Any other way will potentially cause disorientation, you may pass out, and it will cause you to dislike the product. If you start to feel dizzy, the pressure is too high. It is easy to use and effective. I also added a packet of nasal cleansing salt to increase cleaning effectiveness.

DO NOT BUY - it does clean your ear, but the strong pressure caused vasovagal syncope (I fainted - symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, a drop in blood pressure, and even fainting can be caused by the pressure). Don't risk it.

I read reviews on 10 different products before buying this one. I didn't waste time on reviews that just "unboxed" the product and showed what was included. I focused on reviews by people who tried the product and really "needed" the product (for earwax issues). I looked at 2 other Kaugic products as well as about 7 other brands. I picked this one because it's relatively small (we travel a lot), and I like the fact that you can see the power and pulse controls because they're on the base (and not on the handle). My wife has very small ear canals and has issues about every 5-6 months. She's tried ear candles for several years with mixed results (sometimes great, sometimes no help at all). The included temperature sticker "seemed like" a good idea, but (for us) it was useless (couldn't read it). Fortunately, we had an digital oral thermometer so we use that to set the water temperature from the tap (we set it to 110 F which is the upper end of the thermometer display). She also preferred the 3-hole nozzle (1 included) rather than the 1-hole nozzle (2 included) and eventually worked from the "Soft" to the "Strong" setting (meets all preferences). So here's the "whole package". Buy a digital oral thermometer that displays to at least 110 F. Go to any pharmacy and buy a 0.5 oz bottle of ear wax removal drops (about $7). For really bad blockage, use the ear wax removal drops for 15-20 minutes. Clean ear with small cotton swabs (the ones included with this unit are great). Then do a final flush with the Kaugic system. Absolutely amazing what comes out. After that, do weekly "maintenance" with just the Kaugic irrigation system. This is a great unit.

I liked flushing my ears with this but no wax comes out. My ear doctor found quite a bit inside today and he had to remove it. I was hoping this would do the trick. It might for some but not for me.
