I use it to get at my water stopcock which is usually flooded. It works fine.

I’ve bought two now, because I’m very happy with itI’m actually using it to pump out a water filled chamber, 800mm deep.I’ve made a shield at the end of the suction pipe so that sand and debris doesn’t get in, and it works well.Certainly does what it says on the tin, for me.

This is a simple and useful pump and does the job pretty effectively. Worth the money.

I used this for the first time this weekend to empty a bilge, I had originally purchased it to empty a dingy. It was very effective. The fact that it pumps on both the pull and the push makes it very fast. Seems like a sturdy product.

If you have any kind of boat, you need this. My motor cruiser's water pump sprang a leak and flooded certain remote bilges which ought to be dry all the time... used thiis to pump into a bucket and bale overboard. What would I have done had I not had this equipment on board?

Great for empty the bottom of our large, frame pool. Works well, shifts a lot of water in a short space of time, has a nice smooth movement on the pump.

I used this pump to lower the level of a blocked external drain. In 20 minutes it pumped roughly 90 litres of water out and into buckets. Very smooth action so no hard graft involved. The extra long pump easily coped with the depth of the drain and the flexible hose was easy to guide downwards into the buckets. Highly recommended.

I bought this as I have a slow drip in my bilge.The pump is large, fast and easy to use. I pumped out about 20 gallons of thick oily water in no time at all.The only downside I would say is the build quality isn't fantastic....it feels cheaply made and the seals on mine aren't 100% as some water dribbled out as I was pumping.Don't get me wrong...it did what I wanted it to do quickly and without fuss but would I trust it over a long term....maybe not.Having said that, if you are going to use this occasionally in unique or emergency situations I genuinely feel it will be worth getting but, if you was using this frequently, as essential equipment I can't see it lasting overly long.Would I recommend it? Absolutely yes if you use it appropriately. For longer term use I'd suggest something more robust.
