Designed for small people under 5'6" -- cheap bluetooth speaker is mounted under the seat
Oversized? Not quite, friends. Yes, this is a nice recliner. The automatic motor is strong and reliable. The tilt and rocking features are sturdy. I do feel safe in this recliner. However, I'm 6' tall. If I sit positioned in the recliner with my back properly placed, my head falls off the top of the recliner. The included pillow does not resolve this. When fully reclined, I have to position myself as low as possible in the chair so that my head has some support. Clearly, the model in the photos is closer to 5' tall. And, yes, the bluetooth speaker is garbage. It's a tinny cheap-o design mounted to the bottom of the chair. Even at full volume, sound is muffled and dissipated as it echoes off the floor. An unfortunate design mistake. It's too bad. I really want to love this recliner. I am considering returning it.
