Here my opinion of these products.I have recently purchased ANOTHER ARGENDON Commercial Dehumidifier, and I couldn't be more impressed with its performance AND the Price! I’ve been using this dehumidifier for a few weeks now, and it’s made a huge difference in my basement. The air feels so much fresher, and the damp smell is completely gone. It’s powerful enough to handle the entire space, and I love that it runs quietly in the background. The built-in pump and continuous drainage feature are super convenient—I don’t have to worry about emptying it all the time. Really like the quality on this. Works quickly, easy to place where I need it and keeps out of the way. Great at maintaining humidity and is very quiet for a model this size.

So far, it is working as advertised. It is fairly quiet and it removes moisture out at a reasonable rate. However, there are a few things that would significantly improve the product. (I may have confused this model with some others this vendor offers. This one was on the pedestal as their best, so I selected it. )1) This one does not have a pump for water outflow. With the connection about 1" off the ground, that means it either has to have a floor drain near by, or it has to sit on a platform. It is advertised for crawl spaces. Don't know how it would work if the crawl space lacked a floor drain.2) The connection is for a plastic tube. A standard hose connection would be so much better and easier to use. Maybe because it requires a near by floor drain?3) All of the other units I have had, show the current setting and humidity levels at a minimum. This one I have to push a button for the display to turn on. I get the small energy savings that might yield, but at a minimum, it should be an option.4) The user interface should be redesigned.

I needed a work horse dehumidifier for my basement. After ordering 2 other products from Amazon I had to return them both as they did not perform. I stepped up and paid more for this Guardian 60, so far so good. I like that it is designed and built to go the distance and will also dehumidify into the lower 30 degree temps. Product came boxed from the manufacture delivered by UPS is perfect condition. Very robust, nice build/design and quick easy set up. A bit on the noisy side but as expected for a commercial type unit. So far it is pulling the moisture out of my basement at a steady rate as you can set those parameters on the front panel. Recommended.

The media could not be loaded. I live in an old house with poor ventilation so during winter time it gets really humid. The first night I plugged this machine on it almost collected a whole bucket overnight and woke up with better air quality. The downside is it is a heavy machine and the size is somewhat large but it’s really easy to set up and it’s energy star rated.

This thing is incredible! It’s clearly well built feels super solid and is crazy fast. For any of my fellow schoolie folks this is a must have.
