Evolve the way you think about time. Slow watches were created to shift the way people read time so rather than focus on the second or the minute we produced an instrument that measures the moment. Slow does not describe a speed…. it is a mindset that most of us somehow lost. As a result of our busy lifestyles, we often forget that we actually have a choice of how to live. The slow watch is a subtle reminder that time is the most precious thing we have so we should enjoy everything we do and stop chasing every minute. In order to be a true symbol of this idea, the slow watch has only one hand that rotates once every 24 hours. It actually moves at half the speed of a normal watch, but allows you to see at one glance the progress of your entire day. This slow way of showing the time requires using a Swiss precision GMT movement that actually has 4 hands and a date (the Ronda 505.24 Swiss Made), but to keep you focused we simply left out the other 3 hands. Have a great time and be slow…

It's time to take back your time
I've owned numerous watches, some for sport, some for leisure and some for the heck of it, Tissots, Hamilton and so on, but this watch and the concept behind it is a new experience.Gone are the chrono, weather, multi time zone and various other additions found in most watches, and also gone is the minute hand, leaving just a simple yet elegant face, even the company logo, a marketing ploy isn't to be found on the dial. The idea behind the watch is time is slower than you think, to read the watch is a knack easily achieved and you'll find yourself looking at the watch for the first few days wondering it isn't moving upon glancing at it, but it is and it's a reminder that in the days of speed and rush there is time for things to do before the hand strikes the 0 mark and the hour of midnight has passed. The watch is light but well crafted, it feels like this watch was handmade in a good way, the overall size is ideal for my wrist, the leather strap much superior to a lot of other watches I paid a lot more for and the buckle has the same finish and design as the case. The designers of these watches seem to be watch lovers and not watch snobs, just a pair of guys who got together to design something truly unique and fun to wear at the same time elegant and eye catching. So enjoy life the slow way and get out of the loop with slow jo

A truly unique watch for thoughtful time readers. EDIT: NOT SO GREAT AFTER 2 MONTHS
I gave this 5 starts at first but after using it for 2 months changed my view on this - see original review below... I really wanted to love this watch.all the good things you can read below.the catch is that because of the small numbers at the edge of the dial (just under where the glass edge creates a distortion) it is really hard to read this watch. I mean yes, I can see whether I am in the morning or the afternoon but frankly I don't need a watch for this. The numbers are so cramped that it takes serious focusing your vision to decipher what time it is. So, instead of looking less at the watch and for shorter... you end up starting at this watch trying hard to decipher what hour and then whether it is 15 past, 25 past... etc... It just became nerve wrecking for me.I also found out about several other 24 hour watches that work significantly better. Especially the wonderful Botta Watch Uno, that actually pioneered the one hand only 24 hour watch design. Go for that one instead!Everything else about the Slow watch is great. Love the stainless steel case, the sapphire crystal, the creme of the dial, the esthetic of the dial, the leather watch band... just that it is really hard to read the time. Perhaps it is my limit, I just enjoy to know that I have 10 minutes left before a meeting and can treat myself to a quick coffee.... those 10 minutes you won't be finding on the Slow Watch. So I wonder whether if you want to go slow, then perhaps no watch is better than Slow Watch. And if you need to know time somehow, there are better options.-------I am loving this watch.I am into this time thing. Exploring different ways to think and feel about time.Metric time with 24 hours a day being an arbitrary convention... it is intriguing to experiment with a different way of representing metric time than the standard 2 times 12 hour loops.I was struck by how much more 'natural' this 24 hour clock with one hand is. It really resembles the sun location. At Noon, the one hand points up to 12, the highest point of the sun. Sunrise is left/west, sunset is east/right. All the way down is midnight.. I try to go to sleep before the one hand reaches that point. It is a more intuitive approach to reading time, a more embodied approach.Well done, slow! The built quality is also very nice.Only thing, I would consider getting the smaller version. But as I like it so much, I might be tempted to also get the slow Mo 06 with the slightly smaller 34mm case and black dial. When setting it up, pay attention to the instructions to only rotate the hand clockwise and go once beyond full circle before setting the time. Also, as there are 24 hours in 360 degrees, you need to pay twice as much attention to setting the time accurately. I reset the time 3-4 times during the first day. Also, the hand moves so slow, so it takes a little while to get confidence that it IS actually working and working well. But after that, now it is all set up and runs very accurately.Go, get one!

Waste of three hundred dollars.
This is a gimmick watch. The numbers are to small and hard to read. This is an about time watch. I got caught up in the advertisement hype. Three hundred dollars can buy you a better watch. It is well made and works but very impractical. I will add it to my collection of better watches. Hardly worth 300.00 dollars.

Sad it didn't live up to my expectation.
When I received the watch and set it . It ran for about 5 minutes and then stopped. Later that evening I set it again and it ran for about 5 hours and stopped again. Great looking watch. Bad luck with it working though.

A good concept watch
Great watch for those wanting a new experience in thinking about time. This watch is fantastic at connecting you to the rhythms of the days - the one hand rotates in partnership with the rotation of the Earth. If you want to know the exact minute, this ain't your watch. The watch dial is marked in 15-minute increments and you basically have to guess to get any closer than that. But the whole point is, do you really need to be closer than that? The watch is attractive and seems very well made. The band is soft and fits correctly, and I have large wrists. The crystal seems to be particular scratch-resistant.The only feature I would like to see is a date feature. Maybe one that works similarly to the single hand matching the earth's rotation, there could be a date feature that follows the earth's movement around the sun.All in all, a nice watch that really does change the way you look at your day.
