No stars. Stopped working at 6mo and called Dell. Dell said it was refurbished and not under warranty. Seller did not answer or respond. Had to work with Amazon for the return.

I've been using this new computer for three weeks now, and I wanted to give it a proper test run before leaving a review. I don't use it for gaming, so I can't speak to its performance in that regard.I've been a fan of Dell computers for quite some time, and this new one doesn't disappoint. The quality has only improved over the years, and this model is no exception. It's much faster than my previous version and had a very easy startup. It automatically found the drivers for my plugged-in accessories, which was a breeze. I love having all the ports available, too. Initially, I tried customizing one on the Dell website, but the prices were significantly higher. That's when I decided to look for a pre-assembled model, and this one checked all the boxes.Overall this was a great purchase and hoping it lasts for years to come!Thank you Dell (and Amazon).

When I registered my new computer at Dell.com, I was told that the computer is located in the United Arab Emirates -- but I live in Florida. Clearly the machine had a previous owner, who may, or may not have used it. Hopefully they didn't just install malware in the BIOS and re-sell it. I don't even know how to check for that! Everything appears to work, though I expected integrated WiFi (like my other Optiplex 7000) rather than a USB WiFi dongle. And, as seems to be typical for these machines, it has the smaller of the two different recommended CPU heat sinks installed, so I'm going to replace that since I keep hitting the thermal throttling threshold when I do complex tasks, like building our software.

I have had a wonderful experience working with and buying from this company. There selection of products and their value as par none. Appreciate your service and commitment.

I have never owned a Dell computer, until now. However, where I worked for years', we had Dell computers and equipment. We had few or no hardware issues. I am NOT a gamer, but a pro-consumer photographer! Now that I'm retired and must upgrade my15 year old home desktop computer, I compared all the features I wanted, along with the value for the price and was happy to find this Dell desktop model had everything I wanted. Not only does it have a rewriteable DVD player/burner, which many desktops don't have, but an impressive i9 processor which was a must for me not to mention a 4TB SSD drive for my photo storage, and a descent graphics card. I have been putting it thru its paces before writing this review and have enjoyed transferring everything from my old desktop to this computer without a hitch. Setup was orderly as expected. Not a lot of extra junk pre-installed. If you can still find this model with these features buy it!

Don't buy Dell computers from Amazon. The one I purchased here for over $1500 failed after four months. I went to Dell support and they stated it's registered in the United Arab Emerits. Not even a standard one year Dell warranty, complete rip-off. AVOID at all cost! $1500 anchor with all my stuff on it.
