Will not hold weight and unsafe
I needed ramp for myself and knee scooter into an RV trailer. When attached to porch, the bottom half was not supported till the middle. Someone walked on it and the lower half bent and that person was around 300 pounds. I wouldn't trust this for a wheelchair or for someone with a disability. Not worth any amount of money. Will be returning it.

A good choice at this price
My elderly father needed a quick, short term solution for his sudden loss of mobility. This ramp was perfect for us. We installed this 12 ft ramp on a 24 inch rise stairway in my dad's garage. This allowed me to push him (in his wheelchair) up and down the ramp without too much trouble. My dad is 190lbs and his wheelchair is about 40lbs. I'm a 55 year old man in good shape. The ramp comes in two pieces, each is 12ft long with a hinge to fold in the middle. It is easy to set up and take down, but two people are recommended because unfolding the ramp sections is a bit unwieldy. My kit included several support stands that can be used under the ramp to reduce the flex in the middle of each folding section. The support stands do not attach to the ramp, so they need to be regularly inspected and adjusted. Each ramp section has two built-in legs to support the hinge area. These legs also require frequent inspection and adjustment. The two ramp sections are attached to each other using sturdy pins during your assembly process. The ramp is entirely aluminum, so not too heavy when disassembled.A few points to consider:1. This ramp is best used for a 2 step staircase with a 12 inch rise. This would allow a wheelchair user to use the ramp without assistance or to be pushed by an elderly spouse.2. Do not try to install this ramp on a staircase with a rise of more than 24 inches. This will be dangerously steep.3. Consider the weight of the patient and your strength before selecting the length of your ramp. A 12 ft ramp on a 24 inch rise is ok up to about 200lbs. The same ramp on an 18 inch rise might be ok up to 300lbs.4. This ramp is best used inside a garage or on a very level exterior surface. If used on uneven ground, the stability of the ramp will be compromised.5. The high end of the ramp must be placed on a flat surface. It has mounting holes to allow it to be attached to a wooden step. The top step should be at least 6 inches deep and entirely flat so that the ramp sits flush on the top step.6. If using inside a garage, a landing step is required on the garage side of the entry door. The landing should be level with the bottom of the door opening to allow smooth entry with a wheelchair.

Not good for wheel chair application
Too flimsy for our application; transporter not comfortable with security

Easy to Assemble, High Quality Aluminum Ramp!
The media could not be loaded. This is the Standard Review for the MAASTERS Wheelchair Ramp 12 Feet Long Aluminum Wheelchair Ramp. We actually used this ramp for our aging dog who cannot walk up or down stairs anymore. We have a very steep staircase and the MAASTERS wheel chair ramp has been the perfect solution. The ramp is made out of very durable and high quality aluminum. The non slip surface works very well. The ramp assembled in about 5 minutes, simply unfold the ramp, line up the sections and insert the cotter pins for stabilization. This ramp holds up to six hundred pounds and is quite stable and durable.

absolute junk
Poorly machined, ramps are not worth 700+ dollars. very unstable and poorly made.

Sent used ramp
Serves its purpose, however for spending close to $700, I was expecting a brand new one without dings and scratches in it, box was also damaged. Just alittle aggravating.
