Excellent ladder.
A well made product and easy to assemble. Instructions were easy to follow and accurate. The only issue was the flat padlock hasp was broken in shipment. Since the ladder is used on a fitness pool located in garage with no young children at home, locking wasn’t an issue. The ladder is sturdy and I would recommend this it to those people interested.

GREAT LADDER FOR PEOPLE WITH COMMON SENSE!
I have an Intex Ultra Metal Frame 15x48 pool that is 2 years old. After a successful first pool year, we decided to make some investments this season to further our enjoyment of the pool. The ladder that comes with the pool is functional however nowhere hear sturdy enough to handle my 13 year old or my 14 year old gigantic son (6'4" and 270lbs) with special needs. SO - NEW LADDER TIME!I looked around for several weeks and determined that Amazon was the best place to go to based on price and available reviews. I selected the Vinyl Works NE120T ladder even though some reviews made the ladder seem questionable. The color is taupe, which for some reason made the ladder cheaper than the white version. It's cool since I don't care about the color plus the taupe seems like it would hide dirt better.Ordered the ladder in June 10 late in the evening. It shipped from Colorado and made it to the Midwest by June 15. The box is very large and weighs about 60lbs. Upon delivery I could tell that the box had been drug around instead of carried or placed on a handtruck as the staples to close the box were ripped out of the closure flaps and one end of the box was beat all to hell. Not one to shun some laziness, I also drug the box off of my porch and into the driveway to open it, lay out the pieces, and begun assembly.Truthfully, there really were not that many pieces. Other reviews made this ladder sound like you needed to be an engineer to assemble it, however I found this to be quite untrue. I am a 37 year old woman who had zero issues following the well written directions. I had the ladder unpacked and assembled within an hour and 20 minutes, including having my husband help me carry it to the backyard. *YOU WILL NEED A BOX WRENCH, SOCKET SET, AND RUBBER MALLET* Probably a screwdriver too. I wouldn't know since I opted not to install the entrapment feature since I don't have little kids and the entrapment feature seemed like it would actually cause entrapment rather than prevent it.The ladder is sturdy AF. My only complaint would be, as other reviews have stated, that the handles are wobbly. No matter - this is still leaps and bounds better than the ladder that came with the pool! The color ended up being a nice, light neutral - not the color in the pic so that was nice. The platform and stairs are nice and wide and sturdy. The ladder did come with the locking thingies broken off on both sides. Again, not a huge deal since I don't have littles but I do want to lock it when not in use so I rigged up something with some zip ties, a lock, and some MacGyver skills. For the price, the ladder shouldn't come damaged but whatever.I suggest using this on as level of ground as possible. I am leveling out an area today for the outside of the ladder and that will further improve the stability. Also adding a protective mat inside the pool under the ladder just for added protection of the liner and considering something to weigh it down inside of the pool.Bottom line - it's heavy. It's kind of a pain to put together but not difficult at all. If you can read then you can assemble this. The pieces are even clearly marked (A1, A2, etc) so I don't understand people freaking out about how hard this is to assemble. Also - smart people should assemble this outdoors as close to your pool area as possible. Lay out your pieces. Separate your hardware (All things people with common sense do before tackling a project such as this) and grab your tools. You'll be fine! It shouldn't have come damaged but I'll make it work. For the price and for what I needed it for, it's great! Also love the adjustable height feature. Fantastic!

Pool ladder
When I received the product I put it together after putting it together I found out that there was no parts in the box that came for stability under the ladder all I have is the rails and nothing to put together with as far as stability is very weak on top of the the railing

It looked good until it failed
Me and my family bought this ladder for a Coleman above ground pool to use earlier this year. It looked sturdy enough. We put it together and after getting it to the pool, the ladder failed. It broke with me on it when I was coming back out of the pool. The bolts near the first ladder step split in half causing me to fall back off the ladder on to my hip and cutting my feet in the process. I'm glad it was just me in that situation though. This ladder we bough was intend to help a older person in our family get in and out of the pool. The ladder looked and felt sturdy enough for the job. I just decided to test it before the older person went in and I'm glad I did. It really would have hurt them if they went in. And to answer the questions, yes we are under the maximum weight capacity for the ladder, the ladder was on level ground and it was assembled correctly. The only thing I can think of for this failure is the bolts were faulty some how. This ladder was in storage for a while before we got it and it could have possibly degraded while sitting in storage. Please buy and use this latter at your own risk and if you do buy it, test the ladder before making it available for anyone else to use.

Decent but one part was broken
Overall I am satisfied with this ladder it’s better than the one that came with our Coleman pool and it was fairly easy to set up. The only thing is it came with a piece broken off that is supposed to help keep the stairs locked up in place when we are not using it. We didn’t realize this until we started to set it up and with small children that is a feature that we will definitely be using. Luckily we were able to figure out a way to keep it secure and safe but still annoying.

THIS LADDER IS PRETTY BUT NOT SAFE......
We were really excited about this purchase as I've had some serious leg and back issues and we needed a more stable, sturdy ladder than what came with our new pool. The ladder looks very attractive and made a nice addition to our pool aesthetically, but functionally it's just not safe.As it turns out, the little cheap ladder that came with our pool is more stable. The top hand railings are NOT to be used for support as they bend very easily. I nearly fell off of the top of the ladder due to this. This could have been catasrophic for me.It wobbles really bad going in and the legs inside the pool jump up and try to float while you're getting in.Our pool is a place for me to do physical therapy of sorts as well as relax and this ladder is terrifying. We've tripple checked the instructions and we've done everything correctly.I would under no circumstance recommend this ladder for any adult. They might work well for supervised children, but definately not adult friendly.I'd be asking for a full refund, but I'm afraid this is more of a situation where we the buyers need to beware.I sincerely hope that this review helps someone else not to get hurt.

Wider ladder for easier climb
Wider than ladder that came with our pool and high handles. Nice security feature of being able to raise the steps when not in use. Very top handles are a bit wobbly and would have been nice to provide stainless steel screws ones provides rusted immediately in pool but the resin construction seems to be fairing much better than the vinyl covered metal one we had before.
