I bought this several years ago....just getting around to reviewing. Before suffering injuries from two separate car accidents I used this mostly for fishing excursions to keep my hands free. The strap grips well, is easy to use, and holds any camera in place while we are doing important things such as steering the boat or casting for fish.

Works great! Holds my Atomos Ninja Assassin. Would give it 5 stars if the the ball head was just a tad stronger.

it was good why it satisfied my needs. But then after two weeks it keep loosing up. i even add some rubber but that still didnt help my counter i guess was too heavy for it. either way, i purchased "Bike Bicycle Motorcycle Handlebar Mount Holder" and it works much better.

The unit broke on second use. The nut attaching the camera to the mount broke loose from its seating and the camera could no longer remain stable and just flopped around. Will be contacting Amazon about returning for a refund

I use this to hold my DJI mic. We try to position it low to catch the sounds of cars and it works great. I push the mic through with the deadcat going first than I leave some strands stuck in between the mic and strap then tighten it. The force secures the dead cat and you can mount it anywhere you have a 1/4-20 female port. Best of luck!.!.!

I had high hopes for this mount because of the "zip tie" type of mechanism it had for securing it. And, it did snug down very nicely. Unfortunately, when I went to try to remove it after it had been on my bike for a few days (in the shade), the "release button" snapped off when I put minimal pressure on it to release the strap. So, I do like the product, but it broke. I ultimately decided to go with an all-metal clamp mount instead. But, for other people, this might work very well.

This was 1/3 the price of the mount sold by the brand of my sport camera. My camera has the screw lock mount on the bottom so I don't need the proprietary connector from the company. Used it on a bike and a couple situations where I just needed the camera in positions a tripod wouldn't cut it. I like the "zip tie" style pull as it gives it a nice snug feeling. The ball joint could be a little better and it's the only reason I would give it a 4 star. However, at the price it's not bad and nothing to complain about. Still a great product.

This mount worked great for my Contour Action camera. I use it on the stabilizer on my bow, and it gets great shots. I can pull the strap tight, and lock down the head so that my camera stays locked in place and does not move. My only suggestion would be to maybe add a zip tie to hold down the extra slack on the strap. Also this company provided excellent customer service when there was a small mistake on my order. Will buy again!
