Very nice drone for the money! This is my first drone ever, but I do have some R/C experience from back in the day. I literally took it out of the box, charged the batteries, read the quick start guide and I was off flying. Even though I was able to fly it without any issues, it seems well made and should be durable in case of a mishap. It has a very nice camera and will handle the task I bought it for easily, which is to inspect my roof without touching a ladder. The batteries hold up well and provide plenty of flying time but if you use the camera a lot or fly in a decent breeze they will deplete quicker as I expected. It's compact when folded and easy to store in the provided case. If I had to say anything bad about it, it would be that it's a little small and hard to see at a distance. No fault of the drone, I'm just old!

I'm an artificial intelligence management major at SUNY Farmingdale and have access to gadgets and technical toys that usually aren't readily available; I have tried many different drones, several manufacturers... and I've tried so far nine different drones from Holy Stone: before I write a review, I need to play with it, crash it, understand it & sometimes break it and I have to say this is one cool strong drone!!! You guys did it really... easy to calibrate and add to GPS; easy to maneuver like any Xbox or PlayStation game... this drone is solid five stars all the way! thank you for making an awesome product!! I get it, might be a little pricey compared to others, but it's definitely worth the money just don't crash it. This thing is strong easy to maneuver. Keep it away from trees and you have a great drone and on the ocean following your jet ski... hell yeah.!!!! 🫡👍 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

We bought this drone to replace our old bulky one from the last decade. Thanks to its intuitive design, it was ready for takeoff within 10 minutes. Some may consider HS175 as a beginner drone, but I have to disagree with those. The latest version feels like a pro nonetheless. It ships with two batteries and each provides a long flight time. While it’s missing a 2-axis gimbal, the camera upgrade totally pays off with crispier image quality. We tried it both indoors and outdoors, and the performance was amazing with fixed altitude controls.My only complaint is the drone flies quite fast and the remote controller feels a bit sensitive sometimes. Probably, not a deal breaker for most. We are very happy with the purchase and hope it lasts for a long time.

I was particularly impressed by the quality of the photos the on-board camera could transmit to my I-Pad's screen, both in color saturation and resolution. The "night vision" capability was astounding. Unfortunately, there was a defect in that while all aspects of the radio-related transmissions were great - this particular drone's camera was not recording on the on board mini-sandisc. So I had to send it back.

The media could not be loaded. Good drone to start with.When received the distance and height is pre-set to beginner. Go into settings to change. I have been 400ft up and about 1000ft distance so far. Max height is 400ft not sure what max distance is yet but I have read that is around 1500-2000ft
