Not too sure about price, but so far so good (Left, trolling)
I ordered this thinking it was the same thing as a conventional surf reel, so I don't really use it for trolling. However, I've taken it surf fishing and it seems to do the job pretty well, at least where I fish. The rod is rated for a maximum lure weight of 1oz, but it did not struggle whatsover when going a little over the limit. It was also able to cast well over 200 ft with a 1 oz bank sinker and cutbait despite wind currents. The reel is branded as Burning Shark, but is owned by Sougayilang. My only issue with the reel is that the clicking noise stays on all the time. You have the option of using the brake on the opposite side of the handle, which also results in louder clicking, but there is no option for disabling the clicking entirely. It is a very sturdy and good combo nevertheless.Edit: Some people claim to have broken their reels, even after using it slightly; however, I have used it plenty and have not experienced any issues whatsoever—it could just be that their product came out faulty, but then again I could've just gotten lucky. I've only caught average sized saltwater species, and have also tested it on the ground and still works perfectly fine.

Solid Catfish Rod
I got this rod to use for catfish and so far I've been pretty impressed. I really like the clicker the reel has and makes it easy to know when you have a fish biting and I also like the oversized handle which is great when you are fighting bigger fish. The rod is also really solid and has some good casting distance it is also sturdy and gives good control when fighting fish.

Poor quality reel
Poor quality. Reel broke after several casts. The rod didnt have issues, but I would not consider buying from this company again

Sturdy
This rod is well made and is light weight. It is a 2 piece rod which is 7 foot in total length when put together. The reel is 4000 series reel and has a high capacity, with a 5.2 to 1 gear ratio. The rod itself is a fast action, medium heavy duty rod capable of handling up to 20# mono or 40# braid and up to a 1oz lure. I really like the color, it is a vibrant purple with a matching camouflage split EV grip. It is a fiber glass rod, so I wouldn't recommend using during an electrical storm. Since it is light, you can use for a long period of time and not feel fatigued. Casting is a dream and retrieval is smooth going thanks to the ceramic inserts in the guides. I do recommend this rod for everyone.

Solid rod and reel combo
I do a lot of both fresh and saltwater fishing and have to say that so far this combo has fit the need. For casting or bottom fishing, the combo has features that makes a really good value and addition to my fishing arsenal.Let's start with the rod. It's a 7' rod made for medium to heavy power. The rod seems to have a lot of backbone, yet the rod tip is limber enough to allow good action of a 1/2 oz lure. The rod has 9 guides which help to provide smooth casting. I'll have to see how they hold up to a good fish fight with braid line. The only thing that is a concern is that the upper rod has about a 3" section to insert into the bottom rod. When inserted, it does not completely seat all the way leaving about 1 inch of the upper rod exposed. Now for the reel. I have the casting reel rigged with 15 lb. braid. Casting is nice and smooth with lures from 1/2 oz up. For only a 3-ball bearing reel the retrieve is really smooth. It has an oversized handle which is great. I set the reel drag initially, but if adjustment is needed while in a fish fight, the star wheel makes for easy adjustment. The gears of the reel are nice and tight with no play and a quick lockup. The clicker is really audible especially when using the reel for free line fishing.

Feels decent
This feels like a nice rod and reel combo. I like that each eye has a ceramic insert, that's a nice touch. With the extra long rod butt you can two hand cast this a long ways with some decent weight. The reel don't feel as smooth as some of my more expensive reels but again, they are more expensive. The drag feels smooth. I have yet to hook into anything large with this setup so we will see how it handles large sturgeon and Lingcod.

Simply Amazing
Everything in the description is true. The quality and workmanship of this rod and reel are absolutely amazing. I was shocked at how lightweight both the rod and reel were and was even a little concerned about quality when using it. I use the braided line with a good quality leader and decided to try this out, doing a little catfish hunting. The biggest shock I had was the adjustment to modern equipment when I felt the strike and reacted and as I was reeling it in, I thought I had a small bass or a large panfish. It turned out to be a 3 pound cat , although I didn’t catch anything over 4 pounds I caught several and the 2 to 4 pound range and I was amazed at how good this real felt pulling them in. I could still feel attention in the fight of the fish with this gear ratio. it was smooth and it gave me the benefit of the fight. I am definitely adding this poll when I go on my next vacation and surf fish. I will update on how it performs so far. This is an easy five star set up. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
