Awesome Wireless Thermometer
This is the thermometer others should shoot for! This connects to 5g and 2.4g wi-fi as well as bluetooth. Pairing to my phone was simple and paired immediately. Connecting to the router took me a couple of times, but I think I entered the incorrect password. Once connected it showed in the display and also on the app on my phone. I used it to cook a pork butt and it functioned flawlessly. The battery life is quite impressive as well. It ran for 8 hours utilizing the long probe and both the main unit as well as the probe still show a full charge. The initial charge took a very short time using the USB-C connection. An added plus with this item is having pit temperature readings off of the meat probe! It has the ability to show meat and pit temps off of only one probe. I did notice the pit temp was reading about 7-8 degrees below my cooker display, but that could be the probe in my cooker being off. I will run a couple of probes in the future to check the accuracy of the pit temp, but the Inkbird is adjustable if it's off. This is a solid thermometer and is built to last at a good price.

Inkbird 12B-2 is accurate, reliable, and lasts long—perfect for brisket and BBQ cooks.
The Inkbird 12B-2 comes packaged in a nice, well-designed box and is quick to set up right out of the gate. I tested it on a few long cooks—briskets and pork shoulders—using my offset smoker (essentially a propane tank with thick walls). The LCD display and charging unit held a reliable connection within 7–10 feet of the smoker, which is impressive considering the thickness of the walls. In my Weber Smokey Mountain and Masterbuilt Gravity smoker—both with thinner walls—I could easily place the unit 15–20 feet away with no drop in signal. The app is intuitive and user-friendly. I intermittently compared the probe readings with my instant read probes, and the Inkbird was consistently within 2–3 degrees. That’s plenty accurate for long cooks.Battery life is great. The probes held up for a full 14-hour brisket cook and still had half a charge left at the end. The probes themselves are thick and sturdy—comparable to other top brands.Overall, the Inkbird 12B-2 delivers solid performance, great range, and a smooth app experience. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for reliable wireless probes for serious cooks.

Most Awesome and advanced BBQ thermometer!
To begin with, this thermometer combo is the most technologically advanced unit I've ever worked with...no doubt. I highly advise playing with the settings and making sure you get your unit on your home's Wifi prior to cooking. The wifi can be tricky. I had to get the unit close to my router aamd manually type in BOTH the name of the network and the password. After that, the unti synced up and everything was great. This has 2 wireless thermometers, and the thing to know up front is that the longer block one is the only one that measures the ambient temperature of the air in addition to the meat temperature. Huge win! So, if you are smoking just one piece of meat, the black thermometer is your go-to, and the white one is the backup.By the way, another huge win is that both of the thermometers are DISHWASHER SAFE!!! This hasn't been the case with other thermometers in the past, and I'm glad to have it for sanitary reasons.Today, I smoked some dino ribs, and I couldn't have been more pleased. Enabling the unit to my wifi meant that I could check the temperature of the air and the meat wherever I went with the app. I actually left the premises to have breakfast down the road, and had no worries because I could monitor everything important. The app is super friendly, and it doesn't burn through your phone battery like other units that I've tested. It does take a little bit of time to get it all perfect, but when it does it is golden. See some of my screenshots to give you an idea of what I'm talking about. The app is truly beautiful. If going wireless isn't an option, that's okay too because it also can operate on Bluetooth if you are within a certain distance. All in all, this is a superb advancement in meat smoking technology that I recommend to anyone who smokes one or two main courses at a time. I'm not sure if more thermometers can be added, so I'll stick with other options for larger smokes. But for now, this Inkbird is my new favorite for cooking family meals. My dino ribs could not have turned out any better, and that was mostly in part to having an awesome thermometer.

Excellent product! Improved the barbecuing experience for me
The probes are game-changing for your barbecue! My favorite feature is the ambient temperature thermometer, which allows me to monitor my grill temps without having to be anywhere near it. I found the temps to be very accurate, as my beef ribs came out just right.Connecting the probes to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi was simple, and it connects very quickly after you've done it once. The probes maintain a connection even when I'm miles away from my home. Additionally, the display on the charging port is crystal clear, though you likely won't be using it too often. I would highly recommend this product for anyone's kitchen or backyard BBQ!
