Fantastic product for repairing damaged cables
I’ve been repairing damaged cables with electrical tape for years but didn’t know there was a liquid form. To be honest, I was sceptical that it would work. The liquid is thick and goopy, so coats the wires quite easily. It says to wait at least 4 hours to dry, but I usually just leave these kinds of things overnight.I used it on a slightly split power cable on the vacuum cleaner. I think the cable must have gotten caught in something and it made a nick in the outer sheath. I had wrapped it in electrical tape, but that interfered with the winding mechanism when the cable is retracted.I applied some of the liquid into the nick and waited. Because the cable is black, the repair is practically invisible. The liquid had seeped into the gap and formed a good seal but without protrusion, so the cable now winds just like from new.The cured material is rubbery and quite stiff. It’s not as flexible as the cable sheath is. I would advise to do a test on a piece of scrap cable to see if it’s appropriate for the job you intend to use.Once cured, it’s basically impossible to remove. It seeps into the nooks and crannies and fully bonds to the wires. So there’s no going back once this is on.Another thing is that it has a really strong, headache inducing odour. You will need to use the in a well ventilated area. I use it in my shed so it doesn’t bother the wife, but I wasn’t even able to stay in my shed for more than a few seconds when this was curing.

Seems to work
I thought this would be good to help protect the many charging cables we have. They always seem to fray in the same place and I thought this would be a good preventative measure.

Cures way too hard to work
The insulation works but comes out hard like a rock. I'm used to liquid insulation that allows for bending of the wire but this one comes out like a hard shell. The problem is that the shell can snap and break under most strainFor wires that require no movement whatsoever this may be an option but I'd stay away.

Complete Rubbish - Don't Buy
Don't buy, the contents in the tube was solid and could only be removed in lumps using a screwdriver. Complete waste of time and money.
