Works for my needs
I basically use CarPlay with my iPhone map for long trips. But when driving locally and I run into a detour, It is very quick and easy to to start the Mazda maps to find an alternate route

Surprised in the best way
Took and chance and purchased this card for my 24 cx5 carbon edition. It worked within seconds of install. I was actually shocked lol. Using the Mazda navigation to “navigate” via the buttons takes a little getting used to when you’re used to using car play, but I highly recommend. I take a lot of road trips through dead zones and it’s nice to know I have this as a backup if I have no cell service. Worth every penny.

1 minute install and shazaam! navigation
While many people use navigation on their mobile phone apps linked to the car display, I prefer on-board navigation. The dealer wanted WHAT? for the SD card but this one works just fine. It was literally a one minute install--pop the cover on the card slot inside the arm console and insert it, label facing forward and the gold contacts down. Turn on the automobile and shazaam, navigation on the screen.Once the card is inserted, it's locked to that car's vin so it's single-automobile use only. If you get a different car or want to share it, that's a no-go. I don't know how this will update. Nor do I know how to tell if next year, for example, the card sold is an updated version because these database maps don't update all the time. But for what it is and the outlay, it's great.

Works perfectly for a lot less money.
Just got a 2024 CX-5 and this is a way better deal than the almost $500 dealer option for the exact same navigation software.Literally it's just insert and good to go.

It Works!
Knew I was taking a chance but for $35 it was worth it. Works perfectly in 2024 CX-5. I don't have the HUD but my screen now has maps, navigation, & speed limits.
