Do not mount inside rear window.
It is simple to wire. A great feature is the lighter plug has a pushbutton so you can turn it on and off with the plug inserted all the time, and it glows red to let you know power is on. A suggestion: do not try to mount inside the rear window. OK in the day but at nite with leds on, it reflects back and hard to see. Not a defect, physics. Tomorrow I will mount it on the trailer hitch.

Descent, affordable backup camera
I wired this camera to one of the backup lights on my truck so it would turn on when shifting to reverse. The only issue I have with it is that the lines displayed on the screen indicating the distance to an object look like they are going up some instead of being horizontal with the ground.No instructions on how to setup a unit once installed, I had to figure it out on my own.
