Good battery power - Incossistent / intermittent display and APP results
I used the R4000 and it works fine, however I had incosistences on what what displayed on the screen with what was displayed in the APP, from time to time, I found that to be intermittent. I had some unexplained things happened, that I cannot always replicate. For example, I wanted to test DC changing and AC charging. I had a Xiaomi phone on a USB C - USB C cable and another one on a USB A-USB C cable. I was plugging them in directly to the USB C and USB A ports and the load was showing on the display. If I was unplugging them and plugging them to a 220V charger that I then plugged to the AC plug of the solar generator / battery, then the phone connected via the USB A - USB C cable was not registering as charging. Another issue I had was inconsistency on readings between the values I had in the App and the values shown in front of the panel. I had load both on AC annd DC circuits, I could see the display registering the loads, however the APP was registering the DC load only, not the AC. I de-installed and rwe-installed the APP n the phone, it made no difference. That was the case for few hours, then the APP fixed itsef . Then again I tested and the charging registering only for DC , not AC. I left it, I reset everthing, then everything was working fine. It maybe me but I felt that I had incossistent results between the display and the APP. Except that, it seeemed to be working fine. The extendable hande is a very good design feature too. I will return the solar generator / battery as I had incossistent display figures with it. I also bought a 600W flexible solar panel, that was charging the R4000 fine. I will return the solar generator / battery and I weill keep the 600W flefible solar panels. They seem to be working great. Also, when going through the menus, I found that the battery has BMS, its funcionality and specs ae not in the advert, or I could not fing any more details on i. BMS = Battery Management System ,for managing charging and protecting the battery.
