Hello Friends, I selected this shredded Chopped Phyllo Dough for desserts.The shreds were pale and fresh smelling. I took the whole batch and tossed it in melted salted butter then toasted it in the oven until golden and flaky. Then I crushed it up a bit and split it into thirds. To one third I added honey until it was just coated. Then I flattened it gently into a deep 9x9 pan and added a single layer of chopped walnuts. Then with the second third of shreds I added pistachio butter until just coated and flattened it gently onto the previous layer adding a single layer of chopped pistachios. To the final third of shreds I added date syrup until just coated and flattened it gently onto the previous layer adding a single layer of toasted sweetened coconut. I set it in the fridge until firm and then pulled it out cutting it into bars. They were loaded with flavor and crunch. Delicious.

Amazing
There are quite a lot of recipes to be found online on how to use shredded phyllo if you're not used to it. I chose to make kataifi nests filled with vanilla custard and topped with fruit puree as a quick and easily stunning-looking dessert. Very easy to put up in a muffin cup baking pan. Whole family loved it.
