I have tried several iron supplements over the years as I have always been on the 'low' side when it comes to levels and these are one of the best yet. Really good value with the amount in the box, easy to consume and the bonus of the gut health probiotic side of things is not something I have had the chance to try before. These probiotic tablets comes in a cardboard box. You get just 60 tablets and are supposed to take two per day so will last you just a month. There are 10 tablets per foil/plastic sheet. I cannot see any recycle symbol on each sheet, but at least the cardboard box can be recycled! Contains an iron supplement. Supposed to be gentle on the stomach. To be honest I have not really noticed any effect yet, it has not altered my tiredness and fatigue (something it says it does on the carton) - but no harm has been done either.

Firstly, I like that this is heme iron, which is a more absorbable form and is the most gentle on the stomach. I find this to be the case and haven't had any stomach issues when using this. I thought the combination of iron and probiotics was a bit random, but they've explained it quite well in the description quite well and it makes sense. The capsules are easy enough to swallow, they are about average size and didn't cause me any trouble. I swallowed them quickly with water and didn't notice any taste. I think these seem to work well, I used them to replace my usual iron supplement and haven't had any symptoms of low iron so they seem to work well.
