Extremely Low Quality
The quality and workmanship of this power strip is terrible. I disassembled it and found several potentially dangerous issues. The wires supplying power to the outlets are 18 AWG, which is thin but probably sufficient. However, most of the wire connections were frayed, resulting in a reduced effective current carrying capacity. In one location the frayed wires on the energized line were only a few millimeters from contacting the neutral line, which could result in a short circuit. There are small metal chips on the interior surfaces of the case. These chips could potentially cause problems. One of the switches was not working. Quality control seems to be lacking. There is no surge protection in this power strip. The only protection device is the 20A circuit breaker. Surge suppression and circuit breakers are different devices. 20A could be too much current for the outlet wiring, especially with frayed connections. The chassis case is not grounded, which is another safety concern. An ungrounded chassis can potentially cause noise in some equipment. Grounding the chassis and including a ground lift switch would have been nice. There is no EMI / RFI noise filter (there is no claim that the power strip includes this feature). A noise filter would have been a very welcome addition, especially for a device that's typically used with sensitive equipment.I found this power strip unsatisfactory. It contains low quality parts that were not assembled or tested well, which created several potentially dangerous issues.

Powerful but Tricky...Great Surge Protection but Challenging Set-Up
I thought this HHSOET 8-Outlet PDU Power Strip would be useful in my craft room, especially for managing all the cords from my various power tools and preventing tripping hazards. It came with two brackets and mounting screws I liked that the unit had surge protectiom. However, when it came to installation, I had to rethink how I’d mount it. Since you need access to both the front and back of the unit, wall-mounting is not an option. The most practical places to install it are under a table or cabinet, directly on top of a workbench, or even on a rolling cart. Unfortunately, the way the brackets are positioned on the sides means the power cord exits from the front. This design isn’t ideal for a clutter-free workspace, but I understand why the cord needs to exit the unit from the front or back. The cord is sturdy and thick, but before installing this strip, leave enough space to access the individual switches on the back easily. Since none of the product photos showed the strip mounted, I wonder where I could mount this unit for my best use. It’s a well-made power strip, and it’s certainly built to last. Just be mindful of the mounting options and cord placement. It’s useful but not intuitive to install. Four stars.

Bad cheap
Functionality sucks. It looks like it’s built quite well, but a few of these on and off switches you have to flip them on and off a few times and push kinda hard. It’s already installed unfortunately I guess I have to live with it. I don’t feel like taking it off of my Reef Tank that’s already set up just to replace it if they would send me a new one and let me keep this one that would be even better cause then I can just add it and swap everything over.
