Not bad but wondering if there is a way of making the straps longer again so i can put them on another car aswell.

Fits my 2013 Honda Civic; once assembled, it can be fitted/removed in less than a minute.Read the instructions for assembly; a tip; if you are struggling to pull the 'grab arms' out, flip up the red lever inside the mechanism, then almost close the lever; pull the 'grab arms' while wiggling the lever and it'll come out.It does make a whistling noise when driving though, so I remove them when not needed.

Put these on my car started to tighten them and they have dented the roof above the rear doors I didn't even get the roof box on before it happened. Not worth it. Word of advice get the ones that are for your make and model not these universal ones. Not happy

Sadly these wouldn't fit my car because the ledge the clips have to fit over is oddly rounded and they slip off. However, I wanted to leave a review because I was really impressed with the build quality and the way they are engineered. I've used a number of "universal" roof bars in the past and these are by far the best made I've come across. The ratchet mechanism they use is also an ingenious way of overcoming the most common issue, which is adjusting the width. Others solutions have the bars in two parts which slide telescopically and are tightened with a nut - this makes the bars weaker and is prone to loosening and the nut can get in the way. The ratchet arrangement on these where you just "pump" the handle arrangement to tighten them up is brilliant. The instructions were clear too. If they happen to suit your vehicle then for the price I think they are unbeatable.
