So fun for what I wanted
The media could not be loaded. I used these butterfly stakes for party decorations and they were such a cute detail. I love that they have a battery or solar option. Will for sure be using these in more party decor and then retiring them to my garden!

Solar functionality is null.
they claim it works with Solar. Verified it again. It does work in Solar mode only in Full Sun area.I had to add a battery to make it work.

Only one worked and seller wouldn't replace or refund half the cost
We received the pair and one didn't work in FULL FLORIDA SUN. Contacted seller and they wanted us to keep "retrying" (huh?). Then they offered $5 for half of a $19.95 order that didn't work. After 5 days of email exchanges they offered $6 (simple math, half of $19.95 is $9.98). Disappointed one didn't work, even more disappointed seller wouldn't replace or offer half the amount as a refund. Shop elsewhere.Forgot to say that these barely work in full Florida sun, we tried them inside our screened in lani and even just the slight dimming of the sun by the screen kept them from working at all.--------------------------------------Changing this to a ONE STAR (because zero isn't an option). The one that was working stopped after a couple days. Now they're little butterflies on wires that don't move unless the wind is blowing. Total waste of money, DO NOT BUY!!!

Cute but flap super fast.
Cute idea but the butterflies flutter soooooo FAST! I wanted to use for Winnie the Pooh themed baby shower decor but they were just flapping to crazy to use for that.

I used it for Halloween switching out butterflies for bats. Works both with batteries and solar.

May require some adjustment
It's a very nice package. Recommended. Put the Butterflys out with flowers in your garden. Just be sure they are exposed to sunlight. Clear instructions on the box. The issue I had with one of the two is that it would not initially work in sunlight until I put in a AAA battery. The battery allowed the motor to run; I think motor had been stuck and needed the higher voltage to loosen the motor up.. Then it worked fine in sunlight.
