Make mess free, quick and easy DIY candles!
I've made candles from scratch before using wax beads I melted with color beads and scents and it was a pain to clean up. This pearled wax sand makes it so much easier and quicker with no mess to clean! You can use any heat resistant container or old candle jar, an adhesive wick sticker, wick and then pour in this wax sand (a couple drops of essential oil too if you want to add scent!), and boom, you have a candle!! You can just pour more wax in when you want to refill it.It costs about the same or only a little more than regular candle wax beads, but I think the time/mess it saves you is worth it. It burns about as fast as any cheaper candle, but that is to be expected since it's not beeswax or very expensive.

Different texture as other sand wax
I’ve bought sand wax before and this one has different texture as the ones I previously bought. The sand wax I previous bought were more like little round balls. But this one is more like small flakes. So be aware if you want the “little ball” kind of sand wax. This is not the one.

Great product!
Burns very well & absorbs essential oils very well without getting too tacky. Highly recommend!

This stuff makes great candles!
I bought wooden wicks, the sand wax and used beautiful green votives to make my own candles in just minutes. I added a few drops of essential oil to make it smell nice. They are perfect!

It's okay by itself but clumps when scent is added
I used to really be into candle making, but I had to set aside the craft a few years back due to lack of time.I saw this pearlized wax and thought that it might be fun to give it a whirl again.Unfortunately, I had mixed results.Crafting a basic candle with this wax is easy. It's simply a matter of positioning your wick inside of a proper container and pouring the powdered wax in. The package says that you can add color or scents to suit your needs, so I went ahead and added some liquid candle scent that I had lying around from my previous foray into candle making. This is where things fell apart. The pearlized wax clumped badly upon adding the candle scent. It took on the consistency of wet sand , and you could clearly see "pockets" of candle scent collect within the candle.I may try dumping this candle into my wax melting pot and just remelt the wax for use in a molded pillar. Up until I added the scent, the candle looked lovely. Unfortunately, the scent ruined it for me.
