I use the same laptop for work so ordered this to leave at work and use on the days I go into the office. The laptop is quite a chunk in itself so not having to lug the bulky PSU you in too welcome.No issues over 3 or 4 months of use although I only use it a couple of days a week. Have not noticed any difference in performance of the laptop although I'm not stretching the capabilities and playing full on games during work!

This is not a true replacement for the hp product. Yes it works to charge the battery. However it does not provide the power output required to put the omen laptop into full performance mode. Thus gaming and anything graphics intensive is slow and laggy. For and additional 40 bucks I have had to order a legit product. This is not worth the money.It should not be allowed amazon for people to sell products like this that just are now what they say they are.

I needed an external high power external power supplies for a PC (mini format but loaded with SSDs and RTX graphics so the power requirements are, for a small box substantial). If you need no more than 100W there are plenty of options but if you have a machine that needs more then it is a little more awkward.This seems to do the job. Certainly a quick test shows that it works. A multimeter on the output showed a fairly well regulated supply (it was giving out 19.96V which is about 2% over the rated value) and in use there was no excess noise that would be typical of cheap supplies. Physically it is well constructed. There are no air vents on the power supply itself but if the efficiency is OK that is not a problem. That is something that will only show up with a longer term test.The only minor annoyance is that I needed a 7.4mm connection so had to source an adapter but that is not a criticism of the power supply itself as the listing goes out of its way to make sure that you know this has a 4.5mm connection. Though including an adapter would have been a nice touch.Recommended if you need an high power external PSU.
