I do video editing. So an example of one if my routines is I record to a small Lexar Sl500 hard drive (on this occasion it was from my iPhone in 4K 60 fps ProbRes. As I prefer to edit from a fast Thunderbolt drive, I uploaded all my video work from a recent shoot (470gb) from the Lexar to an OWC Envoy ssd. I edit from the OWC. The transfer took 3 hours using my MacBook Pro M2 16 inch. This would have taken minutes if the Levar was Thunderbolt as well. Anyways during the transfer my OWC Envoy got really hot. This has been the norm from similar set ups with transfers where it’s not entirely thunderbolt. Regardless, my point here is this cooler. It easily sits on the OWC Envoy and keeps it cool as long as it’s needed. In my view, it’s better than being really hot, but I’m not a technical pro or engineer.This cooler is in two pieces. The lime green part is a battery that magnetically attached to the fan. This is so you can be completely wireless and go mobile. It only last about an hour though. If you have the usb c cord plugged in, it powers it and charges the battery.It’s actually well made. I would not keep this in my junk pile. It’s not just a fan, it actually has a plate that touches whatever you are attaching it to that gets very cold. Like an ice pack that you would use in your cooler. I’m amazed how this has been dreamed up.If your stuff (cell phones, hard drives) get heavy use they will heat up. Especially with video work. This cooler is an excellent way to control the temperature of the electronic device. Unless I read that it’s bad to cool down your stuff that gets really hot, I’ll continue to use this and can’t help but recommend it.This model at the time of purchase was the only one I could find that had the battery with it to be mobile. There others (I also have one of those others) and they function off usb c power. It works equally well only it has to be plugged in to a usb wall wort or power bank to function. Nifty and USEFUL gadget.Recommended.

Product is amazing. Keeps phone cool, does not have to be plugged in to work, and setting to change fan speed. Highly recommended if in hot area where phone consistently over heats. Product is reliable and will last

Does exactly what it says it does. Great little cooler for on the go

The truth is I'm not at all content. I put it to charge 100% and when I connect it to my phone it is discharged in half an hour... I really do not recommend that you buy it.

A good product but the battery doesn’t last very long , what I would recommend is to make a battery that last longer or add a extra one

I bought it in October and it already doesn't work.
