Great additions to the ice bath
Ice baths are super simple, but they can be a complete pain to get down as cold as you'd like. Ice is obviously the way to do it, but bagged ice from supermarkets is surprisingly expensive and it quickly adds up.Very roughly, the 4 molds here will save you around £10.00 in the equivalent amount of ice (£1.25 per 1kg at time of writing) if you were to purchase it from a supermarket and so they very quickly pay themselves back. They are super simple to use. You just fill them with water and put them into your freezer. Give it about 12-24 hours and they'll be rock solid. The only real downside is that they have a large footprint and you can't stack them, so you do need a considerable amount of spare space in your freezer.

Perfect for Summer Ice Blocks!
These Kovshuiwe Extra Large Ice Block Molds are a game changer! They’re seriously heavy-duty and can hold a whopping 20 lbs of ice. I’ve been using them to freeze water blocks for my chickens during the hot summer months. Just toss in some sweet corn, fill with water, and freeze—my chickens absolutely love it! If you're looking for a reliable and spacious mold for crafting giant ice cubes or keeping your pets cool, these are definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

Cannot find glasses to fit these ice cubes!
A great solution for super sized ice cubes - made of high quality, food grade silicon with a reinforced top. Carrying them full or water is not for the faint hearted so I just use a jug to fill them in the freezer drawer. Freezes in about 24 hours then some warm water on the mould and the ice cube comes out easily. My biggest issue is finding a gin and tonic glass big enough!Great quality and far cheaper than buying bags of ice in the summer for the ice bucket (or ice bath even!).

Perfect iceblocks for icebath
I got this as I got a ice bath/ plunge pool which needs to be cooled down with large ice blocks. I tend to do this after a hard session once a week and so I decided to give these a try rather than buy a bag of ice.The containers are made of a thick silicone rubber, they hold their shape really well and it isn't an issue transporting the full containers to the fridge. Once in the fridge, it takes about 24 hours to full solidify into ice blocks, solid all the way though. The iceblock removal was super easy because of the silicone, however adding a little water onto the whole thing makes the blocks fall out quickly.I made four large blocks for the dip to be able to cool the water down. Once these are half melted, I found this was the best time to take the plunge as the water temperature was at its lowest.Overall, pretty happy with this. At £21.99, the containers do the perfect job and work really well. I am very happy with this and makes ice plunges a bit of an easier process! 5/5!

Make great ice-blocks to cool the pond in hot weather
They are a simple item, each holding two litres. I emptied a freezer drawer, put the moulds in and filled them in the freezer. They took 24-30 hours to freeze. The ice block comes out of the mould easily by peeling down the sides. The top of the ice block doesn’t freeze flat like the listing images, but for me this doesn’t matter. The moulds have metal bands along the long edge so they hold their shape when holding liquid before freezing.I am using them to freeze pond water for when the pond gets towards 24 degrees in hot weather, chuck them in and they help a bit. Not sure what the fish think. Remember water expands when frozen (I didn’t) so don’t fill right to the top. I ended up with it oozing over the top during freezing and forming pondicles down the front drawers of my freezer. I like them, I haven’t used them for other purposes. £20 for four probably a bit pricey, you can use anything to freeze water.

Massive ice blocks, great for a hot day!
I got these to put into my dogs fountain for drinking water in the heat. The blocks last for ages inside the bottom of the fountain and keep it really cold! The moulds can be a bit tricky to move round once they are full, i found it easier to put the tray in the freezer and then add water to it, rather than risk dropping it or spilling it into the freezer! The blocks are really easy to pop out the mould!

Overpriced good idea. There’s cheaper more useful alternatives.
At £19.99 for four, this makes each mould roughly £5 each. This is expensive in my view. What you get is a silicone mould, about the size of a loaf tin with some over moulded metal around the rim. It’s not a £5 bit of kit in my view. They aren’t badly made - the silicone seems an okay quality - but the material is showing someSigns of stress already when I’ve tried to flatten one mould for storage S some points of the base turned white.Great idea, but could be better made and could be better priced - £12.99 might be heading in the right direction.Better yet, use some Tupperware tubs or buy some cheap loaf tins that you can use for baking with as well. That way, you save yourself £20 and you’ve still got products that can be used for other things unlike these one trick pony ice cube moulds.
