I didn't realize right away how large these cards are. This whole set is awesome! My 3 yr old will start preschool soon and we are trying to get her as many fun, educational activities as we can to keep her occupied. I'm impressed with the quality of this set because I initially thought that the smaller pieces were going to be cheap styrofoam. But they aren't and they seem like they'll last a while. Which is crucial with how much use this set is intended to get. The cards are also thick and feel durable. While the markers come off, I would just make it a point to clear off quickly so you don't have any residue. My daughter is still a little young but we are working on her letters and I've already exposed her to this with a few words. Doesn't hurt to expose them even if they have no idea what they are looking at. The directions that come with this are helpful too to get started.

These are a great quality item. I teach reading intervention and my students have really enjoyed using these. They like the magnets and the fun colored handles. I like that we can use the heart magnets to really focus on the heart word method and because the students can manipulate the magnets and it's very tangible I'm finding a lot of success when working on heart words. They are really able to visualize which letters/sounds are predictable and which they just have to memorize. The handle is a fun color but a bit clunky. My students have a little trouble writing their letters on the board if they want to use the desk or table for stability. The boards clean up well but take a little muscle to remove stubborn marker spots, especially if students used fingers to erase (although this would be an issue for most dry erase surfaces so I'm not bothered by it. Overall this is a nice product and works really well.

We homeschool, and this is a great learning tool. Everything is well-made. I like the case it all comes in too. This is a good brand, and I know we will be using these a lot. I like the big handles on the boards. The magnets work well, and I like the two-sided boards. These are really going to help this upcoming year with my twins learning spelling and reading. This is a nice product for homeschool or public school.I look at reviews a lot when shopping. I hope this review helps!

This would be a fantastic product - except the handle makes it hard for children to write: they cannot lay the paddles flat because the handle is 3D on both sides. I really wanted to love these but that is a definite design flaw. These would be perfect for teaching orthographic mapping if the handle style didn’t get in way.

Had a good time playing/teaching my daughter and Neice. It’s always good when the kids can learn while they play. It’s made very well. Just wish it would have came with the dry erase markers
