High-Quality Vegan Protein with Excellent Versatility! 🌱💪
I’ve tried many protein powders, and the GN Vegan Hydro Pro Hydrolysed Protein Powder stands out for its clean ingredients, versatility, and effectiveness... but not with it taste ;(First and foremost, the unflavoured formula is a huge plus for me. It’s incredibly versatile—I can mix it into smoothies, shakes, soups, or even baked goods without worrying about an overpowering taste. It blends well, especially in smoothies, and doesn’t leave a gritty texture, which can be a challenge with plant-based proteins. Each serving packs an impressive 25g of protein from hydrolysed pea protein isolate, making it perfect for meeting my daily protein needs. It’s also easy on my stomach, thanks to the hydrolysed formula, and I’ve noticed no bloating or discomfort after using it.I also appreciate the commitment to quality—this powder is non-GMO, plant-based, and free from unnecessary additives. For those of us looking for a vegan, high-protein option that doesn’t compromise on purity, this is an excellent choice. If you’re serious about plant-based nutrition and want a protein powder that’s clean, effective, and highly adaptable, the GN Vegan Hydro Pro is well worth trying. Highly recommend for athletes and anyone looking to boost their protein intake!

Good quality protein powder
Personally I'm ok with taking non-vegan protein powder but I thought I'd order this to try something different. I like that it's low carb, low far and no added sugar. According to the ingredients list it only contains 100% hydrolysed pea protein isolate so looks pretty healthy. As with most protein shakes it's very easy to make. Just mix a scoop of powder to water and mix it in a protein shaker. I found that the resulting drink was a good drinkable consistency without lumps. It's described as unflavoured but it does have a pea flavour that I didn't find unpleasant but might not be to everyone's taste.Overall I'm very happy with this powder. Easy to make, drinkable, and a good source of protein.

A nice vegan protein powder.
I recently tried a vegan protein powder that comes packaged in a sturdy pouch, and I opted for the 500g size, which provides around 16 servings. While the powder is unflavoured, I found that it has a distinct taste reminiscent of peas. Fortunately, the flavour isn’t overwhelming; I can comfortably drink it mixed with just water. However, I've been experimenting with different flavour enhancers like cocoa powder, fresh fruits, and bananas, which have made my shakes even more enjoyable. When it comes to mixing, I’m pleased to say that it blends perfectly in a blender, achieving a smooth, creamy consistency without any clumps. I have also used my shaker bottle, equipped with a Stainless Steel Bottle Mixer Ball, and it accomplishes the task well, creating a lump-free mixture. There is a slight aftertaste of peas, but it dissipates relatively quickly after consumption. One aspect I appreciate about this product is that it’s sourced from healthy vegan peas and made right in the United Kingdom. This makes it a suitable vegetarian option, packed with essential amino acids that contribute to a well-rounded diet.Overall, I find the protein powder to be quite satisfactory, and despite its subtle pea flavour, it doesn’t deter me from enjoying it. I can see myself reordering this product in the future as part of my nutrition regimen.

Not bad, but strong taste
First thing to note is that this is UNFLAVOURED and not FLAVOURLESS, i.e. it doesn't contain added flavours. The powder has a strong pea flavour, which is expected because it's 100% pea. Whilst it gives a lot of protein for a powder, it does have drawbacks. You need to use one of those protein shaker bottles with the 'grid' thing in order to mix this powder properly with water, otherwise you'll end up with some sludge. And alternative would be to stick it in a blender. Some people might be able to drink this straight off the bat, but I had to add a lot of stuff to it like berries and honey, as just a sip of it 'neat' made me gag. The only reason why anyone would want to buy this stuff is because it's vegan. The dairy based stuff tastes so much better unflavoured.3* because it does what it says - it's a vegan protein powder. But loses a star for the foul taste, and loses another star because it doesn't mix well in water without using a blender or a protein shaker bottle (and you have to shake vigorously for longer than a normal whey-based powder).

Great if you need unflavoured
I wasn't quite sure what to expect when it said unflavoured, however it really is unflavoured, and an odd taste in absence of a flavour. By no means unpleasant, so I can drink it easy enough, but it really doesn't taste of that much. However it's a perfect way for me to add more flavour to things like soups (also thickens them up nicely), gravy and my other shakes which do have flavour, helping me effectively boost my protein intake. What I love is it doesn't give me any digestive upset. Whey protein and other milk derivatives cause major bloating and digestive upset, and I also avoid soy/soya protein for various results too, so to find this (pea protein) without anything I'm trying to avoid is great. Results will vary per person of course, however I personally find this way better than other protein shakes, without any digestive issues caused by others. I'd be interested in seeing if they do have flavoured versions too.I'd recommend.
