Great for the price!
Exactly what I expected!Came sharp from the factory, flawlessly smooth action, perfect blade centering, textured scales, smooth detent on the crossbar lock. And in 154CM, worth the price.

Nice knife.
I love the look, weight, blade style, grip, sharpness. It's a great knife. It does not open as perfectly and effortlessly as a SOG Flash (best manual open in existance). You need to really give it an extra push, and it is a bit harder to close. However, it is a well built knife. Zero play when you try to wiggle the blade. The SOG has a little play.Overall this is a great knife and a good purchase. I will definitely buy more from them in the future.

Very solid knife
This is my first folder from Kizer and I am happy with it. If you’re a fan of this blade shape you can’t go wrong with it. It’s nitro v and came with a usable edge out of the box but not shaving sharp. I’m not the best at sharpening but nitro v is easy to sharpen and I got it shaving without much effort. Very smooth pivot with no movement when it’s locked out. Satisfying click when you use the thumb studs. They are easy to access. The crossbar lock is also adjustable so you can fine tune it. It is a relatively compact knife as well. (Size comparison with a Spyderco pm2)

Sleek entry level head turner EDC
This is my first Kizer knife, and I have nothing but great things to say about it. It comes with so much in this price package. I also had to get me the stormtrooper since it’s the variant that appealed the most to me at first. The action is really smooth and I think I could make it buttery smooth if I disassemble it, and add some oil.The scales are a very nice pattern, and to my surprise are G10. I honestly overlooked that when ordering. An unexpected surprise when I unboxed the knife. I also do have to say, they have a diagram that makes disassembly a dream. So when I do so, I’m sure it won’t be too bad at all. It’s as if they thought of what we as knife users would want, and I do know Kizer listens to users. I noticed that after watching some videos from blade show.10/10 would recommend!

Good quality overall with some rough edges
Second Kizer knife I've owned and overall I'm happy with it, but it's got some issues. The blade lock doesn't actually "lock" the blade in the closed position, only the open position, so it's still possible to flick it open without disengaging the lock. Could be a positive or a negative depending on how you see it. Locking action when it's open is very secure and there's no play in the hinge whatsoever. The blade is sharp and the handle is nicely sized. The scales on the sides have rough edges where the bevels are cut, and scrape at my hands when I retrieve other things on my pocket when it's clipped. It came with a replacement spring for the blade lock and extra screws with lock-tite pre-applied, so that's a nice touch as well.

Minor hiccup but satisfied
Great knife I’m satisfied with my purchase only downfall is I’m a lefty and my pocket clip came with loctite on the screws and I stripped the screws and had to go out and get extractor bits but other than that great feel, very sharp.

Best for the price
Can't beat this for the price. I own a Benchmade Bugout, which has an axis lock and a solid steel, just like this knife. Am I saying this knife is as good as the Bugout? No, the Bugout feels better / more well crafted and feels more premium. However, at 3x the price of the Kizer Task, is the Bugout 3x as good? Also no.For 56 bucks, this knife feels super solid, has a great action / locking mechanism, and uses a great steel. What more could you want?Side note for the Sugar White color: depending on your pants / how you carry this, the scales could become discolored. I wear a lot of blue and black jeans and the scales are becoming a bit black and blue, which I don't care too much about, but some might so I thought I'd mention it.
