BreedGaming Ergo Comfort Grips Case for the ASUS ROG Ally Z1 & Z1 Extreme Protective Gripcase

I very much prefer to play games through local streaming, whether from my Xbox or my PC. The Ally (as a Windows PC) interfaces perfectly with those other Microsoft platforms making for a very user friendly and stable interaction. The downside for me has always been the form factor because it's too flat for me to find comfortable. The flatness is good if you want to bring it with you everywhere but I don't. I just want to go from my desk where I was working, to, afterwards, literally anywhere else around my house. These grips add quite a bit of bulk on the sides but that's EXACTLY what I was looking for. It feels like a normal controller now. They snap on very easily and have a nice solid fit to where you completely forget they're on there or even that your using a handheld PC. This product is highly recommended if you don't care about whether your Ally is optimized to be 'travel-friendly'

I have tried so many different grips and even the little silicone ones add too much extra weight. This one feels great and wisely is made of plastic so it does not add any noticeable weight. Truly an extraordinary item.

Great product but.. they sent over both right side. Too bad really was looking forward after I installed the first side..

Let me start off by saying I am a YouTuber that reviews lots of pc handhelds and you know what they say.. comparison is the killer of all joy. I wanted to love the ROG ALLY but after feeling how comfortable the SteamDeck is i couldn’t love the Ally….. well that was before I found these. They really do transform the feeling of holding the ally and most importantly without adding any weight like most trips tend to do. I will say one tiny gripe I have is that I’m not sure how many times you can take this on and off without it breaking. And the plastic is nice and smooth but does really well rejecting fingerprints ! Will order more as a gift

Found that the seam was irritating my palm due to the additional plastic from the molding process. Otherwise it is comfortable so I just sanded down along the seam

These Ergo Comfort Grips have been one of the best accessories I've bought for my ASUS ROG Ally Z1 Extreme. Prior to these grips I have, unfortunately, experienced discomfort after a couple of hours gaming due to having large hands and the ROG's device body is just not ideal. After installing these grips, I can hold the device with little effort and enjoy hours of game time.I definitely recommend this product to anyone in the market for a better grip system for their Z1 or Z1 Extreme.Pros:+ Easy to install+ Material feels great on your hands+ Grip can also be used to stand your console up (This wasn't advertised in the product's description, but it's a decent mention)+ Fits as intended even with using the Cooling Modcase made by HandheldDIY and cooling still expels from the case with no issues or temperature increasesNeutral:> Because the grip's size, I am no longer able to use the kickstand from my Modcase, but this is not a deal breaker as I mainly use a docking station during desktop use. This is more of an FYI to those using the same Modcase and looking into this accessory.

This product is very cheaply made. Even though the price was kinda cheap I still wouldn't recommend it.

For how simple these are they work great. Just enough to make a big difference.
