My new daily dry skin relief
This brand has become my favorite. It moisturizes my skin without being greasy. It absorbs completely without residue. The scent is nice also. Not over powering.

light moisturizer...overpriced
Grown Alchemist's Vanilla and orange moisturizer does moisturize. So, lives up to the claim. It is very lightweight, the consistency is closer to oil than lotion. A little bit will cover a fair amount of skin. The scent is ok. Not sure how to describe it, but the scent starts off nice, but ends up with an odd bitter smell...so not as nice as I'd hoped. The one star off is for the price. It is prohibitively expensive.

The most amazing lotion I've ever used that truly works
Sometimes a picture says a thousand words, so I included one that actually shows just how amazing this lotion is. A little bacground - I have a persistent problem with a very dry, flaking spot on my finger (likely from mouse use), and this cream has been the only product that provides lasting relief. I was amazed – literally a tiny, bare 1/8 teaspoon of this lotion left the area soft, moisturized, and completely healed. It's truly non-greasy, which is a huge plus. My skin feels incredibly hydrated and comfortable. In the photo top is before and bottom after application.Yes, it's definitely on the pricier side, but in this case, you absolutely get what you pay for. The quality of the ingredients is evident in how effectively it works. The scent is mild and pleasant, so don't let any concerns about the fragrance deter you from trying it. I hesitated myself because orange scents are not my fave but this does it right--it smells light/ clean not like orange residue left on your hands from peeling an orange. This hand cream effectively nourishes and softens, delivering a HUGE surge of hydration that counteracts dryness. The blend of botanical extracts and antioxidants, including Vanilla and Orange Peel, really does provide noticeable skin repair. It's intensely moisturizing, yet lightweight, thanks to the plant-based ingredients like Aloe, Camellia, and Grapeseed Oil. These ingredients also support the skin's barrier, which is crucial, especially with frequent hand washing. It hydrates and softens hands and cuticles. Grown Alchemist's commitment to clean beauty, with its non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty-free formulations, is also a big plus. If you're looking for a hand cream that truly delivers on its promises, this is it.

Doesn’t feel very luxury
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice lotion in that it’s buttery and soaks in unusually quickly for a lotion. My issue is that I never would have guessed this is a $50+ product. It comes in a nice but inexpensive looking pump bottle, the scent is kind of gross tbh, it doesn’t even smell like fresh orange but orange peel which has a strong bitter quality to it. In theory the vanilla should mellow that out but I don’t smell any vanilla at all so it has a strong DIY essential oil kind of smell. There’s no ingredients listed that justify the high price tag, I’m legitimately confused. I’ll continue to use it since I do like how quickly it absorbs, maybe I’ll try to mask the scent with something better.

Good cream - Priced as premium and quality matches
Shared around with several of us in the family. The consensus is positive. Nobody had any negative remarks. The cream lathers in well and doesn't remain oily after it dries but still feels moisturized; it was sort of oily at first but pretty normal amount and goes away quickly. It has a pleasant smell but not overbearing. The bottle is nice. I had to double take when I set it down because it almost sounded like glass due to the thump but it's hard plastic. They label the country of origin on the bottle which is great. The brand also appears to be established if that helps. It's priced as a premium price but not top of the range. I'd say due to that the value is a little better than decent as it'll probably last a while but I can see how the cost might be prohibitive to some. It is a premium product from what we can tell and feel and comes with a good amount so I won't knock off rating on that side - going for a neutral value pending what tier of product you're looking for. But overall, I think 5 stars is appropriate here.

Not greasy and lovely scent
I ordered the Grown Alchemist Restorative Hand Cream in Vanilla and Orange Peel. I've used other Grown Alchemist products before so I had high expectations going in. This hand moisturizer delivers. While the name suggests a thick hand cream, the consistency is thinner than I expected for a cream. It's not a watery lotion - but viscous formula that still packs a punch! I'm able to easily spread the lotion all over my hands and it quickly sunk into my skin leaving no greasy feeling not lingering white cast. The scent is lovely - though I don't get much of the vanilla as the orange is the dominant scent.Overall, a nice luxury hand lotion. For the price ($52 at the time of review) it's definitely a nice to have and not a need to have.

My hands are so happy!
I wash my hands entirely more than I should, and I also use tons of hand sanitizer. Because of the abuse I give to my hands, my skin is wrinkled and cracked on my hands. Most lotions do really do much, and I just thought it was a lost cause.First I gave it the product(Grown Alchemist Restorative Hand Cream- Vanilla and Orange Peel) the sniff test. It has a gentle vanilla orange scent that I thought smelled divine! The scent has lingered much longer than most lotions' scents do. .I applied a generous amount to my hands and lower arms and thought , "Oh that's really nice", and went on about my business. An hour later, I realized my hands are still smooth, silky and soft with plenty of the scent remaining. My hands are better moisturized than they have been in years.I will definitely not be sharing this product with other family members. Mine- all mine! Two thumbs up!
