Smells wonderful
This stuff feels like real fancy soap. Like to the point where I feel bad for using it and feel like I should be saving it for the guests. It has a fantastic natural orange scent and comes out gritty which creates the exfoliating characteristics of the soap. The bottle is simple, yet elegant and is pretty enough that I can leave it in the original container. My hands feel clean and soft after use and smell great! It has an absolute absurd price for a bottle of soap and is way above any competitors . At this price point it should be coming in a glass bottle with a metal pump that can be reused. It's great soap, but there is no way it is worth the current asking price.

Good soap, too expensive
This Grown Alchemist Exfoliating Hand Wash has some nice things going for it. It has good quality ingredients listed, including the fact that the exfoliant is a natural source (pumice) as opposed to something like plastics. The packaging is aesthetically pleasing and it's a large (500ml) supply. I find the scent to be very orange oil forward, listed vanilla is overpowered by it. I don't really love the scent, but it is not overpowering on hands after use. It's a gentle soap that has a pleasant amount of exfoliant in it. I also use it as a body wash in the shower at times, especially because the pumice feels good.I got to try this as a sample as part of Vine, which I appreciate. But I find the price to be prohibitive and I don't find anything about the soap that makes it different enough to justify such a price tag. Would not purchase independently.

It's like your mom's fancy soap but better! Grown Alchemist never disappoints me
Grown Alchemist is a great brand dedicated to natural but effective skincare, and despite my sensitive skin, their products always treat me right. This exfoliating hand wash is excellent. The orange peel notes in the fragrance are delightful, and that’s coming from someone who’s not usually a fan of fragrances. But this particular scent is not at all overpowering or chemical-smelling. The exfoliator leaves my skin feeling smooth, clean, and somehow gently hydrated. I’m also a huge fan of the dark amber-tinted bottle – such sleek packaging that adds a touch of elegance to my bathroom, kinda like my mom’s “it’s for company” soaps that she’d only break out when there was, ahem, company.

I’m sure it’s good
When I use it, my hands feel like they don’t need actual exfoliating, however. My trial / error.

Really nice hand wash
This hand wash is really nice. It is an exfoliating hand wash and it does have little tiny exfoliants in it. It exfoliated my skin really well and it also felt pretty gentle on my skin. It cleansed my hands perfectly and it produced a pretty nice lather. It also has a really nice scent.

Gentle exfoliation and a great smell
I really like this soap. The citrus scent is lovely, and while it's got a lot of exfoliating beads with every pump, they feel gentle on my skin. I have an issue with extremely dry, cracked, and sometimes bleeding hands, and this soap has not caused any irritation and also helps a bit to get rid of some of the dead skin cells. It doesn't leave my skin dry either, which is also huge for me. My husband is less a fan of it. He doesn't like the texture at all. My kids (2 and 4yo) think it's fun and like the smell. It's not somehting I use woth every hand wash, but once a day I really like it.

This hand wash delivers - soft, clean, smooth hands
This is a great hand wash - it absolutely does what it says it will. I noticed how nice my hands felt immediately after the first wash. It smells great, has wonderful ingredients, and delivers a nice amount of exfoliant (is neither full of grit nor does it feel like it is barely there). The only reason for four stars instead of five is the price. At the current price of just over $40, there is a chasm between this product's price and that of your more average hand soaps. This product is superior in my opinion, but I would have a hard time paying that premium of a price. If it's not an issue for you, I say please have confidence that you are getting a great product!
