Absolutely brilliant ! Not cheap - but worth every penny . Very swish automatic lid opener , and closes as well . Hygienic , keeps smells in , attractive design - perfect ! A recommended BUY PS : it even has a light inside !

We're very pleased with this. It is a good size and is fairly compact - it takes up much the same floor room as our old 30l bin despite being double the capacity. The automatic lid works very well and is a source of fascination for all visitors, young and old alike! We have had no difficulty taking the bags out without tearing them.It somehow does not feel quite as substantial as our old Brabantia bin, but I can forgive it that as it was a fraction of the price. Also as you are not touching it so much I don't think it matters really.I would suggest you try to site it somewhere where you are not constantly setting it off by mistake!So, all in all, we're glad we chose this. Be warned by the way - at some point you will find yourself vaguely flapping your hands around in an attempt to open other people's peddle bins :-)

Much cheaper than comparable options, but the top can be tricky to put on (it looks like its on but it isn't) and the bag holder inside is quite flimsy and comes off with the lid most times. Its a shame the top doesn't overlap more so that you can't see the liner, but otherwise I would say good value for money.

Great bin, this is the 2nd one Iv ordered, the 1st one lasted years & years but decided to get new one as old one was getting a bit tired looking

Very pleased with this bin - good quality.UPDATE - very disappointed that the bin lid has now stopped working after 15 months. Having read other reviews, I'm not even going to attempt to contact the seller because I'm not going to spend more money to buy another lid for it to happen again!! The bin lid should be replaced by the company automatically because it is obviously not fit for purpose.

Mechanism broke

This bin is perfect in my cream kitchen my grandchild loves the sensor and so happily puts rubbish in the bin which is an added bonus

This bin was the perfect colour to go in my kitchen and so I bought it because there were few other options at the time. When I unpackaged the the item I noticed that there was a fairly prominent dent in the rear of it, just below where the lid sits; any number of things might have caused this but I felt that the courier was most likely suspect. The sheet metal that the bin is made from isn’t particularly thick after all and it just doesn’t seem very durable. I managed to get the dent out using a towel and a rubber mallet in the end, but was also disappointed that the bin didn’t come with a plastic bucket insert to prevent leaking bin juice from seeping into the numerous joints, nooks and crannies in the inside bottom of the bin. I felt this was a real under sight. After putting the batteries into the lid of the bin I decided to test the sensor, but noticed that whenever I placed my hand in range of the sensor, the lid would instantly flip up and catch my fingers if I didn’t move my hand out of the way quickly enough; Quite annoying if you happen to be holding something grubby and you like to keep your bin lid looking clean. After reading a few of the reviews on here I also noticed that a lot of people having problems with the lids further down the line, and although everything is still in working for me at the moment, it probably explains why this is the only bin I’ve seen on here which sells replacement lids for half the cost of the bin. Overall, I feel that this product is pretty poor quality for the money, which has only been further hindered by some pretty poor design choices. Given the option again, I definitely would not have purchased this item.
