I had expected canned dairy free - but it was a package that you had to cook. It was gluten free but didn't say dairy free but looking at the list of ingredients I saw no dairy products so used it. It didn't taste much like cream of mushroom soup but did work for a sauce to cover the chicken I was cooking.

I used this to make green bean casserole for a family member who cannot have dairy. I mixed it with coconut “heavy whipping cream” and it turned out perfect!! Just like the store-bought, canned version. 5 stars, highly recommend!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this. I have to say THANK YOU for making it. I have tried so many mushroom soups but NONE taste as wonderful as this! Having the right texture is REALLY important to me. I need mushroom soup to make a casserole for the Holidays. If it has too much liquid, it will turn the casserole into a soup, etc. A soup isn't what I'm going for. THIS gives the correct texture though, so I absolutely LOVE it. I will CERTAINLY be getting this again. This casserole is a family recipe that I have used for years but growing up I was not allergic to dairy. I became allergic to it as an adult though. I've had to give up so many things due to these allergies. It's been completely heartbreaking and hard at times. I'm beyond thankful that I don't have to give this up too. Thank you for making it.
