With this and an M.2 drive, my macbook air is like a new computer.

Does not work!
When the M.2 SSD is put in the adapter and then the whole unit put inside the MacBook, the back casing doesn’t fit because the whole things sticks up proud above the rest of the internals, as pictured. Very frustrating as the item is specifically advertised for this laptop. And nothing can be turned upside down because of the interface pins/keys.
