This Rawlings NXT series youth glove is awesome. The beautiful Black glove with Columbia Blue accents is exactly what my kid wanted when he picked out his glove, which is a BIG step up from his older synthetic glove he is using. He loves how it fits his hand and it is just the right size for both infield and outfield for him. The glove will require a little breaking in, but should be ready in a few days. We were actually playing catch with it out of the box. Thanks Rawlings for making a baseball glove designed for smaller youth hands.

These gloves were absolutely the best

This was a great glove for our 10.5 year old short stop. It was very easy to break in. Took practically no time at all. Leather is on the softer side which is helpful in the break in process. He is about 4'8" and 85lbs glove is perfect for him and he loves it. Great value for your money and it's got a fun look to it too with the black and blue color. You won't be disappointed!

Really high quality glove for my 8 year old son. From the leather, laces, and inside materials. 11.5 inches is about great size for an 8 year old and the webbing and pocket were soft from day one.My only knock would be the thumb/palm padding is a little thick and can make it difficult to secure a throw when my son is using it. This has gotten better over time but a slightly smaller pad would have been welcomed.Overall a great glove that will last him a number of seasons.

This is a great glove for the youth player who is taking baseball more seriously. I bought it for my 9u player and it fit him well but should easily last until he moves into an adult size around 13-14.Break-in was easy, really easy. I had it ready to play catch the same day I received it. I think this is the best youth glove on the market right now, just ahead of the A1000.

My son had previously used cheaper gloves from various brands. This glove was a huge step up from those. This glove is all leather. No plastic or synthetic materials here. In order to break this in, I recommend using the official Rawlings tools. This includes their Glovolium and the wooden Glove Mallet. These help you immensely, but it will still take time and effort. Overall, this is a fantastic option for gloves and my son absolutely loves it.

Bought this for my 11U select player. He has a very small hand. It’s sized well for a youth player. My son did not like it as it had an annoying crease in the palm when the glove was closed. Typical good Rawlings quality. I’m sure it will last for years. Comes to you mostly broken in. Not stiff like many higher end voices.

We're going to be entering into the 12U. My son tends to still alternate between positions depending on the cycle in and out of the pitcher. As a result, a fielder glove that works well for infield well is ideal. This Rawlings glove is a newer design. It merges a very traditional design with some updated features to improve feel. While the glove is not velvety smooth in the pocket, it isn't as stiff as some "brand new" gloves so break in should be shorter. Also, There's a great deal of thick sticking present in all the major seam locations which will help over time with durability. The most pleasantly unique feature found thus far is the foam backing in the finger well area. This gives a softer "Squeeze feeling when wearing the glove and does seem to help with glove control. Catching is very predictable with this glove, and the versatility of this being on the "larger" length side of a youth glove does afford him the best of both worlds.
