Sealey MAC04 12V Heavy-Duty Mini Air Compressor

Very nice handy little compressor. Would be great with clips included for 12V battery but hey ho the cigarette lighter plug works just a treat.I wanted quality so I went for a slightly more expensive, branded compressor - SEALEY. I’m impressed so far and it comes in a hand little bag with various attachment for pumping footballs to inflating car tyres. Looks the part too!

I bought mine on line. It came nicely packaged and looked the part. But unfortunately looks can be deceiving.I have used the pump probably 5 times over the past 2 years and I have found on SUV tyre sizes it really struggles to get to pressure. The pump also gets very hot.The worst of it is, the gauge accuracy was poor from new but now its given up altogether. The pressure indicator needle has stuck on 10psi so achieving the correct tyre pressure is just guess work. I have to use another pressure gauge tool and fiddle about. To make things worse the gauge stem thread fitting isn't a common size so finding an aftermarket gauge has been time quite consuming.In the end I contacted Sealey technical services to ask if they can provide a new gauge at a reasonable price.Overall verdict - it's poorly engineered, suggest you look elsewhere.

It’s Ok , took a while to take the tyre on my shogun to 36psi and got quite hot and bothered in the process . A bit expensive for what it is .

I bought this to have in the car after the one provided by the dealer failed. It's heavy, robust and will take a tyre from single digit pressures to where it needs to be in no time. It is astonishingly loud though, to the point where i felt my ears ringing for a while after use but i was too close to it.

First impression looks good and compact, bought it to carry on motorcycle. First time I needed to use it packed in, absolute Chinese junk don’t waste your money.
