This is excellent Chai tea! It is so easy to make and tastes delicious! I wasn’t sure what I was getting because it sounded like instant chai tea. I figured it may taste okay like instant coffee. Which is an okay substitute for real brewed coffee. So with that in mind I followed the simple directions and add it to my cup, put in the tiny little scoops, stirred it and added a like 1/2&1/2 and honey. My first taste was…..wonderful. It definitely blew instant coffee coffee thoughts out of my head. Wow! It was like I had taken the time to seep the tea leaves and chai spices. It was delicious. It was easy and took hardly any time to make. I have made it for my friends and family and they all love it. I was drawn to this product because it comes straight from the growers to the tea creators to me. Simple. The people that are doing all the hard work are getting paid a fair wage and not losing out on profits by paying middle people. Growers creators customers. It’s simple. It’s delicious. It’s easy to make. It’s a win win situation. Try some. I know you will love it too!

One of the little known dangers of black pepper ( Aspergillus niger ) is the presence of invisible mold, which produces aflatoxin. Acute exposure of this particular mycotoxin causes liver damage, and chronic exposure of lower levels causes cancer. Evidently, mold grows more readily in packaged pre-ground pepper, than in whole peppercorns. That's why it's not generally recommended to purchase the former. The only way a consumer can tell if a minuscule amount of mold is present is via taste. Fortunately, I taste no mold in this product, as received.TIPBecause its flavor is extremely potent, its usage per serving is minuscule. So unless you're a restaurant, your rate of usage will be extremely low., which tends toward mold spoilage. Thus, it might be a good idea to dispense a small quantity of it into a small shaker, and then store what still remains in its can in the freezer.

This chai is soooooooo good! I'm a tea drinker (allergic to coffee). I love a good black tea (english breakfast, darjeeling) and after traveling to India, I have a greater love and appreciation for spiced chai. I though this might be cheap quality, but oh gosh is it delicious. Such a small container, such a good price, and a little bit goes a long way. The recipe calls for two small scoops. The scoop is tiny! I had my doubts but fell in love after the first cup. Mix it up with hot water, a little non dairy creamer, and sometimes sugar. This thing is going to last me forever. And I will definitely be buying it again when this runs out.

I’m obsessed with this chai! I loved the new cherry chai from Starbucks, but wanted a healthier version that wouldn’t cost me $7. This is it! It’s very yummy, spices are strong and nice… I make it as directed in the can (hot water and that’s it). Then, I make a cherry frothy milk in my Keurig for a chai latte that’s better and healthier than Starbucks. Must have in my kitchen from now on!

EDITED Review after 2 months. This soluble masala dissolves well, comes with a wooden tear- drop looking very small spoon for measuring the tea ( thank you for no plastic !!), and is finely ground.No issue whatsoever with opened/spilled/unsealed/ damaged container. Past that, it will all be a matter of taste. I first chose this soluble masala over another due to price (this one looked authentic -as well - and half the price of the other), yet I find it not very well balanced in the mix of spices, and much weaker. Using twice as much as instructed does not fully make make my cup of chai enjoyable. I get zero green cardamom flavor, but black pepper and a bit of ginger with other generic Indian spices. Not a bad product, just not my taste. In the end, the other, twice the price, soluble brand takes less product to deliver a fuller, stronger flavor. Just a personal taste, and opinion, of course. I may re- purchase so as to have a rotation between a fuller, more green-cardamom- flavored tea (other brand), and a blackpepper- flavored one ( this one).

Amazing flavor, not sweet at all, for those who look to cut down in sugar, comes with a small measuring cup, it's a tiny can but it's definetely mighty! 100 servings! oh wow.

In my case it was packaged well and I did not have any issues and this chai tea is very tasteful. I love it and I have recommended it to other family members which have also purchased. I will be buying again in the future.

Very little flavor. I’m adding 4 scoops and can barely taste it. Won’t buy again.
